005 - Animagi
I've been giving it a great deal of thought, and decided that I am going to resume the studies I had nearly completed twenty years ago and become an animagi. Unfortunately, as magic was not nearly so important to my life when I was away from England, I am feeling a bit rusty and out of practice. It's hard to remember the time when I was a skilled duelist and a transfiguration specialist. It seems so far away (and I suppose it was).

You are all registered now. How are the final stages of becoming an animagi? It is going to take a lot of work for me to ready myself to that point again, and my memories of doing so are a bit foggy. Also, what does it take to become registered? I can't remember.

I'm also on the market for an apartment. Any suggestions? I absolutely hate searching for a place.

Actually, I'll be moving out of my flat soon. It's a two bedroom - I converted the second bedroom into an office. Hestia and I just bought a house that we'll be fixing up and she still has her place in Hogsmeade in the meantime.

So if you want to take a look at it soon and you like it, we can just pack all my stuff up and store it in the new house and I'll just stay with her until our house is ready.

We're looking to be into our new house by August, so really, this will just be motivation to get my things packed away. It's no trouble at all. We've been spending time between our two places, anyway.

I'm free Monday after work, if you'd like to stop by then? It's affordable and in a nice neighborhood - my landlord would be willing to negotiate, I'm sure. I've been in this flat since I was twenty, he likes me.
