You know what, that's such a good point. What does punishment do? You're totally right! Why do we punish criminals?

So, just so I've gotten down how this works so I don't make any mistakes, if I go out and kill someone tomorrow, then I feel bad about it on Sunday and I admit to it and write out how sorry I am for everyone then it's completely ok? I'm absolved of everything and I get a second chance?
