How COULD they? How could they SERIOUSLY think that was a good idea? It has to be one of the most irresponsible things I have EVER heard - and not to mention I've now got to deal with the fall-out from one very pissed-off team member and a coach who is not stupid and who will notice something is wrong sooner or later. What the hell do I say?

One of our beaters has been rather overworking herself lately - something we have all been worried about but keeping an eye on. Nontheless, one of our reserves decided it was appropriate to give her a cupcake laced with sleeping potion, which knocked her out for a good while.

It may not sound like much, but I'm astounded that someone would go above the heads of their seniors in such a way that could have gone very wrong - not to mention that it is probably against the rules of the host school, and I am so annoyed that I cannot even look at him right now. Ugh.

	The culprit is a reserve so would not be playing anyway... I think I will speak to the two players in question again, and go from there. It might give me more of an idea of what to do with them both. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Sorry for my late response, Anais. I actually made it to class this morning.

I think if it involves the team, it involves your coach. It might be easier to deal with it yourself, but if there's bad blood at the end of the day between the players, the coach needs to know about it before you make it onto the pitch.

But agreeing with the others, it certainly would be easier to know the details of what occurred. Off the record.

	Class is obviously important. I had none this morning, so things are a little more different for me on that front. This is what worries me, and hence thinking about what Coach Marat might think. 	Chase is right, your coach needs to know if things are going to be tense on the Pitch. Though I'd say if you can settle it without needing to go there, it's what I would do. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	You cannot have a good team with poor team relations. It will affect play together. Whether its general personal feelings or...incident like this, it's most important to make the team a good team together again. If you can do that without telling coach, it may be better. 	One of my reserves decided it was a good idea to take matters into his own hands, regarding one of the starting team who has been very tired and busy lately, and gave her food spiked with a sleeping draught. To be honest, right now I quite feel like borrowing a bat to knock him out, but that is not helpful.

I think I am going to take a long run myself, once I have spoken to the recipient of the potion. I don't think the Francophones have a stereotypical way of solving problems, but we can be rather a dramatic bunch so I think I had better calm down before I speak to the culprit. I do not want to say something rash that I may forget.

I am likewise furious, though to be honest part of it is that he chose to act without consulting the senior members of our set-up. I would certainly never authorise such a thing.

I tell you what, let's take a walk and then hopefully we can find the house-elf who can get you some from the kitchens. I do not wish to speak to Gabriel when I am angry, it would not be fair on anyone.

	I know you wouldn't. He- I understand now that I need to do less. And I'm grateful for the rest. But he just- he just did it, without my consent. And I missed a prefect meeting and astronomy and- why does he always thinks he knows better when he is a child and knows nothing? I don't want to walk. If I were you, I would hold off on telling him about being grateful for the rest until he has understood that his behaviour was wrong. Otherwise, he might feel justified in his behaviour. There is nothing to stop you saying so when things are calmed, of course.
