In all honesty, I am rather enjoying the process of getting ready for the ball. I always find them to be fun sort of event, and to that end, I don't care about having a date or not. It is one of those things that I feel if it happens, it happens, and if not, it is something that is not a barrier to enjoying myself. I have chosen an outfit, but I may yet make some adjustments to it, depending on my mood closer to the time. I think it will turn out quite well.

Team BB - French

So, I think I had an idea for after the ball. How about a Beauxbatons after-party? It would be for us, plus any dates from outside our school. The only problem is where we could have such an event. Does anyone know what curfew rules are during the Hogwarts holidays? I suppose Madame Maxime might allow us to have a select group of guests within the coach, rules depending. Any ideas are welcome at this point.

Also, what is the date situation with everyone?

	It is a social occasion, and you can be sociable and talk to plenty of people and dance with people whether you have a partner or not, don't you think? I think the Yule Ball will be what we ourselves make of it. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I decided to wear dark blue, with some silver accessories. It's fairly simple because I would look ridiculous with something fussy, given my height. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	That way, I feel, there would be the fun of a large gathering and then later, a smaller group for when we are a bit more tired but not ready to sleep yet. The question is, how to sell this to Madame Maxime, I think. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	I think it is fine to not have a date but because we do not have balls at Hogwarts usually there are not many times we can go on dates apart from Hogsmeade so it is natural people want a date for it. (Reply to this)
