The text is scrawled, rushed unlike Lily's regular writing. There are a few spots of stray ink, as well as a few circles were tears may have fallen.

Has anyone heard anything? At all? There must be something--

Marlene's gone. They took her, when I was suppose to have her back, watch out, and not let her be kidnapped by Death Eaters who will do Merlin knows what and-

I failed, plain and simple. I let her down when she needed me.

She needs to come back. If anything happens...I just--

My baby needs its Aunt. And I need one of my best friends back.

	It's not your fault. ~~If it's anyone's, it's mine~~ You've got nothing to apologize for, Lil, and I mean that. Beating yourself up about this isn't going to help Marly. We haven't heard anything but we're going to be using our patrols to comb the countryside for her, and I've not ~~slept~~ ~~eaten~~ really stopped looking since. She'll turn up, she's got to. 	Start wherever you were assigned to patrol. But don't go out unless you're healed up, there's no sense in ~~anyone else getting hurt~~ ~~anything happening to you~~ that. Remus told me to calm down. I took ten deep breaths. It helped. And I searched Chester as Padfoot. There's no scent trail, her scent just stops, she was definitely apparated away. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Maybe. Looking back I suppose it's one of those thing you can just never tell with. I would never wish any of this on anyone, but I've never wanted to fight so much while being so worried at the same time before. Even just thinking if I'd been hit much lower and the baby had been- I don't know what I would have done. (Reply to this) (Parent)
