HAIR COLOR: strawberry blond (naturally, but she can change it thanks to her abilities) EYE COLOR(S): grayish blue (again, natural shade but subject to change) HEIGHT: 5'9" BUILD: lean and strong, pilates and yoga have been good to her DISTINGUISHING MARKS: What isn't pierced on this girl? Ears (three in the right, two in the left), tongue, navel, and her left nipple all have holes in them. Piercing is extremely easy given her ability to turn to liquid, so she's able to shove metal into parts of her body without going to a tattoo parlor. Of course, she also has to take all these piercings out whenever she wants to liquify, or she loses the jewelry in the process. PERSONAL STYLE: Saoirse is most comfortable naked or in a bathing suit. It's not really so much a style thing as it is a matter of convenience. When she transforms into liquid, her clothes don't transform with her. Rather than deal with the hassle of collecting them when she turns back, she'd rather wear as little as possible. Of course, this isn't something she can do all the time, because running around naked or in a bikini would probably be too distracting to the rest of the tower residents or New Yorkers as a whole, so she throws on comfy clothes when necessary. Jeans and hoodies are pretty normal. Her hair kinda does its own thing. It's naturally wavy, and she doesn't often style it. MUTATION INFORMATION
ALIGNMENT: Syndicate YEAR: five years as an agent TRIGGER: arousal CLASS: class 2 ABILITIES: - Hydrokinesis (primary) - Saoirse has the power to control, generate, and absorb water. This power is amplified when she's close to a large body of water, which is convenient given the Atlantic Ocean is nearby. But any water is subject to her whims. Burst pipes and active fire sprinklers are pretty normal around her. - Liquification (secondary) - In order for her power of liquification to work, she has to be well-hydrated, which isn't hard given her hydrokinesis ability to absorb water. The amount of liquid is proportional to Saoirse's body mass, so she creates a rather large puddle when she liquifies. - Psychokinesis (secondary) - Saoirse has the ability to mentally manipulate molecules and objects on a molecular level. Specifically, she can turn solids into liquids and back again. The more complex the object (such as animals), the harder this is to accomplish. If she attempted something like a person, she wouldn't be able to turn them back. This is a power that she's continuing to work on. It's a good defense mechanism if up against an enemy. - Body Manipulation (secondary) - This is the weakest of her powers. She can only make minor changes to her appearance when in solid form. Things like hair and eye color, eliminating her freckles, or maybe looking a bit more tan. She can't alter big things like making herself taller/shorter, heavier/thinner, etc. STRENGTHS: You don't want to tango with Saoirse when a source of water is readily available. She can summon it and hit you with a force that's just as strong as a truck traveling at 60mph. Likewise, if you are actually in water, she can create deadly riptides to drown you. Of course, there's already enough water in most people's bodies that all she has to do is flood your lungs with your own fluids. Gross. She's also capable of turning objects and people into liquid, and with people, this is strictly a last resort, because she can't turn them back. It's a death sentence. WEAKNESSES: You will never never ever convince Saoirse to visit a desert. She needs moisture to survive. Dehydration is dangerous for all life, but it's especially dangerous for Saoirse. If a stronger mutant with the power of hydrokinesis battled her and sucked out all the water from her body, she'd die for sure. SPECIAL SKILLS: Saoirse sucks with weapons, so scratch that off the list right now. She's got a pretty voice though, which has lead to a number of other mutants asking if she's really a Siren, not a mutant, but Saoirse has never used her voice to lure men to their deaths. She has a weirdly long and agile tongue. No one can beat her when it comes to tongue tying a cherry stem.
IN-DEPTH PERSONALITY
Everything about Saoirse is sorta fluid. She goes with the flow just like water. Sitting still is nearly impossible for her. She wants to be doing something at all times. It doesn't matter what, just something. She's laid back, super chill, able to go with the flow like the free spirit she is. It's hard to upset Saoirse. She's very joyful and difficult to insult, because she can laugh off just about anything. But she is feisty. You might say she's a bit of a water sprite. In that way, she's relatively harmless unless truly threatened, then watch out!
Mischievous and full of adventure. Saoirse is always up for trying new things even if there's a high level of risk involved. She wouldn't call herself a daredevil, but she's been known to do crazy things like skydive, swim with sharks, and eat deli meat from questionable vending machines. YOLO!
When it comes to missions, Saoirse is never in charge. She doesn't have the discipline for that. But she is capable of following orders…once she calms down. She's a bundle of energy, and it can be hard to contain at times. She's not so great at missions that require her to pretend to be someone she isn't, like a sophisticated lady. Nope. But if you need her to go in to provide some firewaterpower, then she's all over that!
For every negative trait Saoirse possesses, there is a bright and shiny one. For starters, you couldn't meet a happier person. She overflows with excitement from even the smallest of joys in life. A dollar found in a winter coat brought out for the first time of the season could make her bust into a little jig, complete with a bootie wiggle. She's also quite charming... a romantic to the core. Her sweet, personable, sociable personality is attractive to many... even if she's a bit naive. For some, that makes her all the more adorable. And she LOVES to be adored! Saoirse is a shameless flirt. The feisty little sprite will bat her eyes, shake her hips, and flip her hair... all in an effort to make boys (and a few girls along the way) melt.
Habits/Quirks: Bites on her cuticles, clenches her teeth when she's nervous, obsessively downloads iTunes to the point of near bankruptcy, can't resist singing along with a song if she knows the lyrics, chews on pen caps if gum is unavailable. Obsessed with lotion and has no less than a dozen bottles of the stuff (usually of the scented, girly variety) scattered throughout her apartment. Fears: Deserts freak her the fuck out. Likes: Energy drinks, the color blue, action movies, warm weather, being outside. Loves dancing around her room in her underwear while using a hairbrush as her mic. Personal Weaknesses: Overly dramatic and immature at times. Personal Strengths: Insists she could survive if randomly abducted and dumped out in the middle of the wilderness (she always carries a really advanced swiss army knife on her that she believes will save her life one day). She's also a fast runner.

It's a good thing Saoirse's parents had one child under their belt before she was born, because she was a whirling dervish from day one! Good lord, you never heard a child scream so much! She cried all the damn time. They thought something was wrong with her, though being mutants, they were cautious about which doctors she visited. Everyone said she was normal, just loud and in need of attention. Then she learned how to talk. Saoirse hasn't shut up since! She's a chatty lady, full of excitement and energy at all times. She's also a fan of practical jokes, so careful where you sit, and definitely don't fall asleep in her presence. You WILL end up with whipped cream on your face.
She attended public school for as long as her parents felt it was safe. But when Saoirse was twelve and started to pay attention to boys for the first time, she became too much of a risk. With arousal being her trigger, she couldn't help setting off fire sprinklers or bursting pipes whenever she saw a cute boy! Her parents educated her from home from that point on and did their best to keep her away from temptations.
Teaching her the basics in terms of a traditional education was easy enough, because Eryn was a high school biology teacher. Bran was a contractor, so he was a bit on the burly/scary side with a thick Welsh accent that could strike fear into the hearts of even the bravest men. He managed to scare away any boys that might trigger Saoirse. But teaching her how to control her powers still wasn't easy. Eryn and Bran learned on their own, and they were far from being masters. Their daughter needed the sort of help they couldn't provide.
Thankfully, that help came one lovely autumn day while at Buckingham Fountain for a family picnic and pigskin. They were heading to Soldier Field next for a Bears game, but had an early tailgate party at the fountain. Ever the mischief maker, Saoirse was manipulating the water streams whenever her parents weren't looking. She was spotted by an agent from Seagram who was in the city on a mission. The man talked with Saoirse and her parents about his employer, exciting all of them for the potential. Saoirse had never been a great student (ADHD much?), and Eryn was frankly worried about what kind of career options would be available to her daughter. Working for an agency that specialized in training young mutants and teaching them how to protect other mutants sounded like a fantastic opportunity. Of course, the agent glossed over all the dangers that came with the job. Bran looked at it a bit like the military for mutants, and he was fully in support of this idea. Arrangements were made for the family to visit Seagram, and it wasn't long before Saoirse joined as a young recruit, just a month shy of her seventeenth birthday.
She was not the easiest recruit to deal with. She frequently got into trouble. How could she not? She was young and impulsive with no parents around to tell her no. But she did learn how to take orders in time. Probably because learning how to maximize her powers was so damn fun! It provided the incentive she needed to keep up with her training and listen to the people telling her what to do.
When she reached level three status at the age of 22, she was finally given the green light to become an agent. Since then, she's worked hard to continue to improve her control. She's now a level two mutant and really hopes she can reach level one status in a few years.
