Middle child and only son to the Garrett Construction Dynasty, Lucas has always worked as he perceived "twice as hard to get half as much recognition for simply existing". The man suffers from a hard case of middle child syndrome. Even though he makes light of it, inwardly he does his best to keep the struggle in check. It really is a sore subject with him. However sore the subject it's nothing that a steak, a pint of Guinness and a game on the tube can't fix in his opinion.

He started off working for the family's company working from the bottom up. It was at first his father's decision and for a while, Lucas resented him for it. But once he started working the hard labor, he found that he liked it. It was a way to get anger out and problems solve. He even discovered he had a talent for electrical work. He spent time going to classes to learn more as well as an apprenticeship with the lead electrician of the company, Mike Dixon.

One is apt to find Garrett hanging out with a couple of people that work for the construction company. And in instances where he needs advice or someone to listen to his concerns, Mike has become somewhat of a surrogate father to Lucas. It's more implied than really has been spoken by either one. The older Lucas became, the more his real father began to notice and it bothers him that his only son and Mike have the relationship her should have been working to have.

- CLOTHES WHORE
- Collects watches. Favorite designer is TAG Heuer.
- Very protective of his baby sister, Bethany. Often went to bat for her to their parents when she was younger. Since she married and now has children the parents finally acknowledge her. He doesn't let them forget that.
- Isn't very close to his older sister, Heather. She tended to ignore both Bethany and him much like their parents did. For his part, he ignores her now. - RDJ is his fav actor. Bar none. Man crush.
- Huge Iron Man fan from the time he was a boy. Even more thrilled when RDJ was cast in the iconic role for the films.
- Feels more at home with the people who work for the company rather than his family.
- His favorite comedian is Patton Oswalt.
- Steak. He must have steak. His favorite places to get the coveted main dish are the Chicago Firehouse on Michigan Ave and The Chicago Chop House on W. Ontario Street.
- Sometimes is still rather self absorbed. It's a trait that he has been consciously been working one since he became an executive in the company. He's learning what the difference is between being a boss and being a leader.
