	Haha, not much to tell. He's fairly young and has a lil boy crush on her that is, unfortunately for him, completely unrequited. Doesn't stop him from trying, he's always jumping on opportunities to help her out and show off his mad skillz. XD i just thought it'd be cute. (Reply to this) (Parent)

wow i gotta come out and say it it, i'm sorry ava's such an awkward turtle!! when i started writing her i didn't think she'd be as flirty around jade as she is since since she's an innocent snowflake and he's a Cool Dude™ and i was psyched for their weird friendship. i can't figure out whether she's simply throwing mixed signals or she's actually digging him in ways that aren't entirely platonic, but hey i relish the drama so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

	Omg do NOT apologize! Jade is a far. He doesn't really get a lot of those more confusing, nuanced human hang ups. He just saw what he perceived to be an opening and went for it. He likes physical affection so if he gets a green light... well, he usually takes it. Even if she's sending those mixed signals, he won't be too heart broken. aww you're the absolute best! i know i've probably made it abundantly clear how much i love jade (and your phenomenal writing omg) but just in case it isn't, i love this fae and i'm totally jealous of how talented you are. i'm on mobile or else i'd gush more but there you go. ava's been a tough muse to crack and there's still a ton of backstory i need to develop but at this point i'm more afraid (or excited, if that isn't too evil lol) of her getting her own heart broken or something. girl's gotta get out more tbh

Like I said, you don't have to explain! It's TOTALLY fine, and like you said it adds another layer of complexity for their relationship, which is great! They can and should still be flirty silly friends together. He feels pretty protective towards her, after all, and really does cherish her for the perfect little cinnamon roll she is, so if and when she gets her poor heart broken, you know he'll be there to bash heads. And if and when she wants to make with the smoochies, he's down for that too XD

Hi there! I’m Triss, I’m a bumbling new greenhorn ‘round here. My character is a tree spirit living in the Wishing Tree, with some control over flora similar to Jadon’s, just less robust. I figured I’d reach out and say hello. I’m sure Siri will be spending a lot of time, or has, in the Wonderland Gardens. I think they’d get along, but perhaps not. Hi Triss! I'm Mandy! Oh my goodness, yes, they must hang out. I have been meaning to blow the cobwebs off this kid, and I think a line with her would be grand!

Jade is sort of a cocky, arrogant kinda guy... super well-meaning, but tends to ruffle some feathers here and there. XD

Were there any lines in particular you'd like to examine, or shall we just throw them together and see what happens?

Hi Mandy! I'm all about helping take a plot-vacuum to the cobwebs!

Siri here gives everyone the benefit of doubt to a fault. She has no feathers to ruffle, jokes at her expense and arrogance tend of go over her head right now, but she is starting to become more familiar with human social ques, so that may change. For now, if he's well meaning and plant like him, she probably will too!

Nothing comes to mind immediately as far as specific lines go. There is a creepy shadow thing a few characters have spotted around the wishing tree, though, so she may go looking for him for a second opinion about how to protect it, or whether she should be concerned. Green thumbs consultation and such. Other than that, tossing them together works great. :D

	Hey I've got that tag for you tomorrow! I just wanted to know though, has she been with the tree for a while and just never manifested?
