Glam Rock | Ziggy Jagger
'Cause she's hoping to score
So I can't see her
letting him go
Walk out of her heart
Walk out of her mind

She's so swishy in her satin and tat
In her frock coat
and bipperty-bopperty hat
Oh God, I could do better than that

January 2017

She's an old-time ambassador
Of sweet talking, night walking games
And she's known in the darkest clubs
For pushing ahead of the dames
If she says she can do it
Then she can do it,
she don't make false claims
But she's a Queen,
and such are queens

It's been a year.

One year ago today, I lost one of my brightest stars. God, sometimes it still doesn't feel real. I'll still think, 'Oh, David will think this is hilarious, I have to tell him'. And I'll have started to call him before I remember he won't answer. And then the cold weight settles onto my heart again.

I can't deal with today. The sun's barely up and I've started drinking, because it fucking hurts.

Today will be bad for me. These anniversaries always are.

Staying back in your memory
Are the movies in the past
How you moved is all it takes
To sing a song of when I loved
The Prettiest Star

If you're ever in the mood to laugh and listen to some great musicians, you should go and watch this. I've watched it so many times, and it never gets old. (Plus, they've got a point, when you think about it.)

Also, you will never hate anything as much as this guy hates Pachelbel's Canon in D. You just won't. It's fucking hilarious.

I'm totally fine. I am. Honestly, you'd barely even know I spent almost three months drinking myself to sleep every night.

But I have finally crawled out of my bottle, because you can't mourn forever. No matter how much it hurts. I'm doing my best to keep his name alive, and his music out there, which isn't too hard. People loved him. And I love them for it.
