Appearance Eyes: Brown. Hair: Vivid Ginger. Height: 180.34CM. (5'11") Build: George (or Gred as he’s taken to), is tall like his brothers though not quite as tall as his older brothers, and a bit more on the stocky side. Distinguishing Features: There really isn’t much that distinguishes him better from the ‘common people’ as he calls them more than his flaming-red hair and freckles. Nothing screams “I’m a Weasley” better than that and he wears them with a prideful, almost cocky smirk. Unfortunately being an identical twin there isn’t anything that he could point out that would distinguish himself from Fred aside from their personality. He likes to think of that as being genetically perfect to the point where he had to be split into two. Mannerisms: George is actually constantly on the go much like his brother. If he isn’t working on something his mind is going a mile a minute with pranks or ideas for pranks which often times comes across as nervous body movement. His hands will drum his quill or his leg will shake when he has to sit and concentrate on something he isn’t interested in rather than what’s really on his mind. He’s one of those people too that can’t hide that inner sarcasm and often times his smile doesn’t quite reach his eyes because it isn’t genuine. More often than not his laugh and smile are at someone’s expense leaving it an insincere look. Manner of Dress: Coming from a family where money is scarce and every small cent counts, George has a lot of hand-me-down clothing. Most of his clothes came from his older brothers so they are well loved to the point where many seams are falling apart and are in need of repair. He often fixes his own clothes (he asked Molly in his early youth to teach him to do it) and proudly displays any patchwork or wonky seams because he did it himself. He prefers hand-me-down’s if he’s honest, less to worry about when you ruin them unlike fancy new stuff.
Personality Strengths: Flying, Charms, Transfiguration, Herbology, Defensive Magic, spying on people, pulling pranks, inventing spells and devices, and his personal favorite, causing general mayhem. Weaknesses: Difficult time keeping Fred in line, sarcastic, vindictive, hard on family, strict sense of justice, strict sense of loyalty, doesn't forgive easily. Likes: His family (his mother is his favorite next to Fred), Lee Jordan, Katie, Alicia and Angelina (the girls as he calls them), Pranks, Hogwarts, Quidditch, bothering Ron (it's so easy), doting on Ginny, food (he loves the opening feast), Dislikes: Slytherins, Malfoy, Percy's attitude (he's so uptight), Death Eater's, the war in general, Fred's more vicious prank ideas, falling from his broom. In-depth: "The thing about growing up with Fred and George, is that you sort of start thinking anything's possible if you've got enough nerve." —Ginny Weasley on Fred and George Looking at the infamous Weasley twins there isn’t a lot physically different about them but in personality they are two different people despite being born one and the same in many ways. George is actually the quieter and often times gentler of the two. He doesn’t find a lot of Fred’s more cruel jokes as funny though he goes along with it because that’s his twin. In George’s eyes it’s better to go along with it and try and tone it down than let Fred go off on his own and do something completely stupid or mental. Fortunately he’s usually around for those times but the times he isn’t, he’s the last one laughing and often lectures Fred in private for being stupid. George has a similar sense of humor but that too is not quite as harsh and he’s often more inclined to make an innocent joke at someone’s expense - usually himself – rather than let a friend suffer in silence. The only way he knows to be supportive or even comforting is through jokes and pranks. Without that he feels lost and out of place. It’s why at the worst parts for Ron he’s usually found doing something to him. It’s all in the name of making him laugh instead of worry. Unfortunately he’s not a complete saint as he does have a vindictive side that can be quite harsh. He had no qualms about shoving Montague into the Vanishing Cabinet. So it nearly killed him, served the git right for getting in the way and causing problems for them. Personally he’d have shoved most of Slytherin in there if it rid the school and world of their ridiculous notions about purist society. He is honestly immature and a bit childish, often seeking out Percy or other family members (namely Ron) to be the butt of the joke. But in his mind they really need to liven up a bit rather than let their pride and personal esteem get in the way. If you can’t laugh through life, even at yourself, what’s the point of living? You’re already dead inside, or so he believes. Unlike Fred however, George can be serious when he wants to be. He doesn’t like having to concentrate on subjects he has no interest in and often finds his mind wandering. But that doesn’t mean he can’t be serious. He’s usually the one telling Fred when it’s time to be serious, having taken on the role of the grounded one since Fred is usually the ringleader of their pranks and bad behavior. Not that he minds. Who doesn’t love a bit of general chaos and mayhem? Personally he thinks the world would be a lot better off if everyone had a joke in their hand and a prank waiting for them around the corner. It’s why he endeavors with Fred to invent the things he does. His goal is to just get through the bad times and even the good, with a smile everywhere.
History Top Five Defining Moments: Չ Being born as a twin. You can’t have a more important start than that. His life was forever different than most other’s (especially within his family) because he had a twin. Չ Turning Ron’s Teddy bear into a spider. While at the time it was funny, George did feel bad about it later and tried to apologize. Unfortunately the damage was done and it left George with that memory. It made him more conscious the next time they did a prank. Չ Going to Hogwarts and finding the Marauders Map. What better for the twin terrors than finding a map that gave them every hidden passage in the school? They could steal from the kitchens, get around the castle without being seen and even go to Hogsmeade any weekend they wanted. It was brilliant. Չ Ginny being taken to the Chamber of Secrets. George has always felt a personal responsibility for taking care of Ginny and when she was taken that fell apart. She’s their sister, they’re supposed to protect her and they failed. When she came back, George felt more responsibility than ever for looking after her and it endeared him to Harry for saving her life. Չ The first Weasley's Wizard Wheezes item. While at the time they didn’t necessarily have a name for themselves, the first prank item they ever created was a moment for George he’d never forget. It was the start of something, and upon seeing the laughter it created, he knew he had to make more. Hell they had to be even better than that. It set the bar and he’s always tried to surpass it. Biggest Secret: George wishes Fred would be less cruel to others. Not that he’s perfect himself, but George gets tired of apologizing for him all the time. Common Knowledge: Identical twin to Fred. He and Fred were all but terrors to Mr. Filch, going out of their way to ruin his life (something he set as a goal). He went through most of Hogwarts as a slacker because he cared more about pranks and jokes rather than actual school work. The things he did learn he applied to that goal and after Harry gave he and Fred the winnings from the Triwizard they developed Weasley's Wizard Wheezes and opened a shop in Diagon Alley. During the battle of the 7 Harry’s, he lost an ear only to go on to lose his twin brother at the Battle of Hogwarts. It took a long time for George to accept his death enough to marry but he did eventually marry Angelina and had two children. Despite this, George never got over Fred’s death and has spent his life creating newer and in some cases meaner pranks in his memory. In-depth: At least 3 paragraphs.
