	What happened was some of her friends decided to 'save' her. They succeeded in that. But then she tried to do the same old thing, leaving. And she failed. It's what she damn well wanted to do. I'm not sure, honestly. Being here is the first time I've been separated from her ever. And I promised my mother I would protect her, so I would try and find her. But if my ability to love was taken away... I think she would just want me as safe as possible, even if it meant we weren't together.

Why does it seem like the scientists have an obsession with separating friends and family here?
