Powers: Chlorokinesis - aka manip of plant life, poison, and pheromones.

Appearance: Hazel has very vivid and noticeable eyes, one green and one blue, framed by a messy array of long, dark blonde hair. She tends to be on the much thinner side, which sparks rumors about her eating habits, but once you know her you're aware it's all bullshit. She just has a quick metabolism. She has an almost naturally rosy cheek, and smooth, flawless skin that makes others jealous, but Grace hardly notices. Most would consider her quite pretty, though she sees herself as nothing above average.

Personality: Hazel is a very good natured, sweet and trusting individual, which has landed her in some hot water before. She tries incredibly hard to see the good in people, and view the cup as half full rather than half empty. She's the kind of individual who would give you her last penny, or the coat off her back if one requested it, and sometimes even if not requested. She is on the shyer side, but has managed to overcome that obstacle in the last several years while she worked to fund, purchase, and establish her non profit, if only because without using her voice, she was usually steam rolled. And while she is innocent and naïve in a lot of ways, don't mistake that for her being without ways to defend herself.

History: Born to two very well established medical professionals, Hazel was mostly left to her own devices growing up. Her parents travelled, were part of very important studies, and constantly spending time at hospitals and universities during her formative years. She was given the best nannies and tutors to make up for it, but nothing really replaced the real thing, and there were many things she missed out on with the lack of a proper mother and father figure. But that only caused her nurturing side to grow.

Her parents had big plans for her future, hoping that Hazel would follow in their footsteps as she grew older. But things took a bit of a turn when it became apparent around puberty that she was born with powers. It wasn't exactly a surprise. After all, her parents were medical professionals, and it came out that their daughter had been the butt of some experimentation while she was in the womb. It hurt her to know that instead of a daughter, she was revered as more of a science project, but she did her best to continue growing as a person in the face of this discovery. She maintained spectacular grades, even skipping both 3rd grade as well as her freshman year, meaning she graduated at the tender age of 16. She was the target of a lot of teasing, but she mostly ignored it, forming a thick skin and reminding herself that she was only being teased because others were insecure with themselves. She killed them with kindness, and eventually, many grew to like her and protect her, especially at her young age.

She was accepted to Stanford, but surprised and upset her parents when she dropped out after a semester and instead enrolled at UCLA in their social work program. During this time, she became quite active in community outreach, even starting a program for at risk youth in several areas. She was regarded highly by her peers, but faced backlash from her parents for wasting her talents.

After graduation, she continued with her mission, and found interest in those suffering from Power addiction. Her parents cut off her funding, but she pressed on. On her 25th birthday, she was informed that one of her nannies had left their estate to Hazel, having no one else, and after selling off the lot of it, she managed to have enough money to invest in a property in a part of town riddled with homelessness and drug users. 2 years later the Open Eyes shelter and food kitchen was operational, having been granted their non profit status, and Hazel has recently put out job openings for various positions. She lives in a small apartment on the 4th floor, that is solely her space, however the 3 other floors are dormitories and bathrooms, recreation, and of course, the kitchen and mess hall.
