Character Name: Jack Sparrow
Age: Early 40s
Fandom: Pirates of the Caribbean
Canon point: While travelling with Jack after she thinks Will is lost/dead in Dead Man's Chest.

Inventory: Clothing on his back, flintlock pistol, sword, and compass. (His hat is currently missing, floating in the sea. He's not terribly happy about it.)

APPEARANCE/PERSONALITY/POWERS
Appearance: Jack stands at around 5'9", has brown eyes and brown hair, mostly in dreadlocks. His beard also comes down into two tiny braids.
Personality: Jack is known to most to be a trickster, thief, and not to be trusted. However, he has shown that he has a heart, deep down, hidden away so that most would not suspect. Despite having a deep, self serving need of self preservation, he would show multiple times through the years that he just sometimes unusually altruistic, at least for a pirate.
He does not like killing people simply for the sake of killing, and even usually avoids killing soldiers for simply doing the duty of tracking him because he's a pirate (specific vendettas tend to throw that out the window, though). He once released a ship of slaves rather than hand them off for servitude, even though this eventually lead to him getting the 'P' brand for pirate on his arm. He does believe that, despite being a pirate, it was still possible to be a 'good man.' These beliefs are likely what got him mutinied on "The Black Pearl," since, according to Barbossa, he would rather convince a crew of a ship to give him what he wanted rather than taking the easier route of just killing them.
Still, even with this slightly alturistic nature, he's left a slew of enemies in his wake, most of them wishing him harm. He's likely to find someone angry at him at any port he happens to drunkenly wander into.
Powers & Abilities:: Jack is a well known pirate, able to get himself out of even the tightest situations. Rather than rely on brute strength, though, he is more likely to use his agility, intelligence, and quick wit to save himself in mulitple situations. However, he is not above running from danger if he thinks he cannot win. However, when he is willing to fight, he is also quite handy with both his sword and pistol.
