Clockwise means you use more of the right side of your brain, counter-clockwise means you use more of your left. (More in the original article, linked by [info]chase820.)

Personally, I start off seeing a counter-clockwise movement, but as soon as I stop focusing, it changes to clockwise.

Today marks the official launch of Firefox 3.0, and they're asking users to help them set the world record for downloads in a 24 hour period. I'm doing my part, but MAN, the server is jammed. It's taking forever to download this file (I started the download before I started writing this. It's less than 8 MB and I still have more than two minutes to go!). I'm starting off by installing it on my laptop, just in case my can't-live-without-them extensions haven't been updated yet. Though I've noticed tons of updates in the past few weeks, which I'm guessing was for this release.
