NPH, how so awesome?
I kinda love Dr. Horrible a lot, a lot, A LOT. Not just the sing-along blog, but the character! NPH really can do no wrong right now.

And Captain Hammer, while a tool, is still Nathan Fillion and has the best lines in the history of ever webisodes. Though I think a lot has to be attributed to delivery, because the way he closes his eyes and sways slightly for the "lacy, gently wafting curtains" line is what makes it so great.

And we all know what greatness he wrought with the "the hammer is my penis" line. No need to go there again. (Unless we're talking about actually rewatching it, in which case there's definitely a need to go there again.)

When is this thing coming out on DVD? Because I need DVD caps, like, RIGHT NOW.

I made a few icons. Because how could I not?

So. Much. TV. To. Watch. We're supposed to be on summer hiatus, right?

Project Runway Australia
Wow, talk about the wrong person going home. Okay, so maybe, just maybe, the antipathy I feel for Helen is clouding my judgement here, but I really don't think so. She's a hack. She's a hack who prides herself on only doing enough to get by. Who constantly takes the middle of the road and still believes she's going to win. What planet is she living on?!

I'm not even liking the top selections all that much. I thought Mark's outfit was good, and really pretty. But so was Petrova's, and in addition to being pretty, it was innovative and fun! And sending her off the runway before that guy with the only kinda cute shorts and the horrible-looking bikini top meant that there was absolutely no suspense whatsoever when they announced the winner.

Of course, there's also innovation gone horribly wrong, which leads me to the next elimination gone wrong....

Project Runway
I'm sorry, but Blayne? Worst. Outfit. EVER. I cannot believe that piece of crap, described by the judges as looking like a diaper, won out over a garment that, while not good, was nowhere near as horrible-looking.

Okay, I can maybe see choosing innovation over medicrity, but the innovation in question has to show some promise, and in my opinion, Blayne's showed none.

At least I felt the right person won. The coffee filter top wasn't exactly the best choice, but everything else was perfect, especially that skirt. And when she said she'd made the hooks out of a spiral notebook I think I swooned a little. Just the idea of coming up with that blows my mind. I'm hoping for more great things from her (even though I've forgotten her name already).
