Um, hi?
This is the first time in probably a month that I've had the urge to post, so forgive me if this picspam is somewhat redundant (considering everyone has already done one today. ;-)
(Hahaha, I find the blood tears beyond ridiculous, but even they couldn't spoil this scene, which was all kinds of awesome.)
I read all nine books in about a week and a half, and then took much longer to catch up on a season and a half. Which pretty much says everything about the show. But then, a few episodes ago, it just started getting really freaking good (some elements already were, but things started coming together).
While I have some issues with Sookie, I don't have nearly as big a problem with her as some people do. I think my main issue with her is Anna Paquin, but having read the books, I find her behavior easier to take (excuse?).
If Bill got staked in the next episode, I, for one, would have absolutely no problem with that.
I cannot tell you how absolutely bizarre it is to really like a character who suddenly and without warning starts speaking Swedish at regular intervals. (Godric does speak Swedish, but he's actually Danish, which the guttural pronunciations give away immediately. Sometimes, even I have to read the subtitles. Hee!)
I am really looking forward to the rest of the season, and I cannot wait for season 3! (Hopefully, that will mean no more Bill/Sookie!)
I just realized that this is probably the first time I've watched an episode and immediately wanted to picspam/icon/rewatch since Veronica Mars was on the air. And we're talking Wichita Linebacker here!
Oh hey, and speaking of VM, I helped Laura recreate the Veronica season 1 wardrobe picspam! I missed doing crazy fannish stuff like that.
