• Become a purse-oholic, with two new purses under my belt. This is my favorite...
  
  Green is not my color, I prefer purses with long shoulder straps that can be worn crossbody, it's patent leather and looks almost plastic, and yet I'm mad about this bag. I wish it came in another color except for orange, because I'd probably buy it in any other color. Just not orange.


• Been to see The Proposal. And I'm really surprised how much I liked it. Lately, romantic comedies just haven't worked for me, mostly because the romance part of them have sucked to high heaven. But with this movie, it actually felt genuine when it finally happened. And in the meantime, it had some pretty hilarious scenes. Well, hilarious now that The Office has cured me of my worst embarrassment squick. =)


• Caught up with Eureka. Just in time for the compilation show, naturally. I was dragging my feet when season 3 started back up, because I wasn't feeling the show for the first half of the season. Needlessly, as it turns out, because it's been great! I don't think I've enjoyed Eureka this much since...actually, I'm not sure I've ever enjoyed it this much. And since Jack/Allison bores me TO TEARS (and Jo/Jack seems to be dead in the water), I love that Tess has arrived. When it comes to Eureka 'shipping, I'm pretty much a Jack/Anyone-except-for-Allison 'shipper. And proud of it!


• Redone my laptop desktop using Rainmeter and ObjectDock. I'm only using standard settings, because I'm useless at this kind of stuff, but I still like it:
  
  The wallpaper is my own version of one I found on DeviantArt. That one was too small, so I just whipped up something to fit my own screen resolution. I'm thinking about changing out the ObjectDock icons to black and white ones, but then again, I enjoy a litte splash of color (and I also like the icons themselves - especially the My Computer and Show Desktop ones). I think I'll try to do something similar to this on my work computer desktop too.


• Pretty much become obsessed with Ace of Cakes. I've watched every episode I could get my hands on, but it's not exactly the easiest show to find episodes of.


• Come to the sad realisation that my new-found obsession with Eric/Sookie is the most fannish I've felt in years. Season 3 of HIMYM was a fannish high-point, sure, but it still didn't feel like THIS. I'm not sure how the hell this happened, and it might not be the best thing considering how long off they could be if they follow the general outline of the books. Sure, there's book 4, but that's still another season away, and then there's Alcide and Quinn. I do get the feeling that on the show they might skip some of those developments in Sookie's love life and focus on the triangle between Sookie, Eric and Bill, which might cut down on the time span, but I'm not sure if I'd prefer that. Both those guys are more tolerable than Bill, after all.


• Been extra GLEEFUL about Glee, since hellopoe pointed out this complete version of Gold Digger that's viewable to non-Americans. (Thaaaaaank you!)


• Realized that NEW TV is but a few scant weeks away (speaking of which, there haven't really been any leaked pilots this year, WTF?), and I've hardly caught up with any of the shows that I meant to catch up on this summer. I guess I'll just have to stay perpetually behind on my TV watching.
