The Letter E: YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!
Two things that bug the everlivin' CRAP out of me:

• Unless you're using it as an adjective (the premier episode), the word premiere is spelled with an E at the end. The meaning of premier when used as a noun is
  
  

  1. the head of the cabinet in France or Italy or certain other countries; first minister; prime minister.


2. a chief officer.

Season premiere, world premiere, series premiere. But Canada's premier.


• It's not Bros Before Hoes! That means you put your bros before your gardening equipment, for crying out loud! It's Hos. Ho-ho-hos! Just...GAH!!!

And now that I've gotten that out of my system, last night's TV:

Glee
This episode didn't really work for me. I liked it, I just didn't love it. And that's not even taking into account the Bring It On plot-stealing, because even though I'm sure I've seen that movie at some point, I can't remember it worth a damn.

The best parts of the episode were Kurt, Rachel and SpyDaddy!!! (I hope he's going to be recurring.) Plus the singing. I can't help it, I love it when people burst into song for no reason. It's the Grease-loving seven-year-old in me.

Bones!
I did not think I'd be putting an exclamation point after that show name for a long time to come, I was ready to drop it after that disaster of a season finale. But it felt like they'd gotten a peek at my Check List to Make Jems Continue to Watch This Show:

• Mention the now-cured amnesia in passing. CHECK!


• Explain the wtf-ery of the dream/book/shared reality. CHECK!


• Get it out of the way early so the badness won't have to be dwelled upon. CHECK!


• Have the episode actually be good so as to rinse away the bad taste of the previous episode. CHECK!

And then they added the additional twist of having the effects of the dream/book/shared reality/WHATEVER actually have relevance to a storyline with actual potential. I'm so happy I could cry!

Except I find it absurd that Booth wasn't in love before his coma. He may have been in deep denial, but the boy was in love, come on!

I still haven't watched Flash Forward, but I've got it cued up to watch right after Top Chef, which is what I'll be watching in five, four, three, two...
