I've been watching Sex and the City for the past week, and I go through the first two seasons with just the occasional snicker, but then season 3 comes along, and the Fashion Mockage begins!
(It's the slit in those shorts [shorts!] that push this outfit into the realm of "hooker" for me.)
Flowers!
I'm absolutely convinced that all these flowers don't just cover up campaign buttons, but a multitude of sins, including hickies, stains, holes in garments. BECAUSE THERE IS JUST NO REASON TO WEAR THOSE FLOWERS UNLESS THEY'RE COVERING UP SOMETHING EVEN WORSE!
And then there's my favorite...
...wherein Carrie takes on a jacket when she goes outside and repins the flower to that instead. AND THEN REVERSES THE PROCESS WHEN SHE TAKES THE JACKET OFF.
There's the see-through collection...
...and then there are the ones where the dress might not want to make you claw your eyes out, but the hair will.

Incidentally, in the very next episode, she wears a similar "a bunch gathered on each side of her head" do, and it's one of the prettiest ones I've seen. Possibly ever.
I also like the wedding hair, even though it looks a bit like she has two heads.
