ABOUT THE CHARACTER

Kevin and his 7 year old daughter, Anna, moved from Chicago to Orlando in September of 2021. Kevin's wife of 9 years, Sam, died in August of 2020 in a car accident. He is currently in a very happy relationship with Tristan Jamison. He and Anna live in a two bedroom apartment at Palm Estates with their dog, Blossom. Kevin is a laid back guy who enjoys watching hockey and exploring his new home with his daughter and boyfriend.

CHARACTER HISTORY

Kevin was born in Chicago to Luci and Gregory Sawyer, the second of two sons. Gregory was a pilot and died of a heart attack when Kevin was 6 years old. Two years later, Luci married Marshall Cooper and Kevin came to love Marshall as a father figure. Kevin and his older brother, Vinnie, had a relatively normal upbringing in the Lakeview area of Chicago. When he was 14 years old, Kevin began dating his crush, Samantha Mayer. The two dated all through high school and attended the same college where they continued to date. Kevin graduated with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. During his senior year of college, Kevin started working for JetBlue at O'Hare Airport. Two years after college he married Sam and two years after that, their daughter Anna was born. For 6 years they lived a happy, quiet life with their friends and family in Lakeview. Everything changed in August of 2020 when Sam was coming home from work and her car was struck by a drunk driver. She died less than a week later.
