POSITIVE

Loyal: Hannah has always embodied the most important trait of being a Hufflepuff. Loyalty. She will be by her friends' sides and defend them, come to their aid and generally never abandon them.

Hard Working: Even though her father is paying for most of her way through Healer training part-time in the evenings, Hannah insists on working and keeping her job as the Landlady of the Leaky Cauldron. She doesn't stop, from sun up until sun down, she always has to be working.

Dependable: You can always depend on Hannah to have your back on even the smallest of issues, or just to have a shoulder to cry on, or an ear to listen.

Romantic: Hannah has always been a romantic, thinking the classic displays of emotion like poetry, flowers, candlelit dinners, are the epitome of romance. She's a complete sucker for a man who puts forth the effort to woo her. She's similarly giving to any boyfriend she has at the time. Going out of her way to find out exactly what he likes, something he's always wanted to do or just surprises him with sweet gestures.

NEGATIVE

Naive: Even despite everything that's happened, Hannah is often naive and gullible. She'll give everyone the benefit of the doubt or try to see the good in everyone, but if they prove her wrong, she's still so surprised that not everyone is as dependable or trustworthy as she or her friends are.

Horrible Temper: Hannah is often very sweet - but cross her, and she'll unleash a horrible temper! Even if she gets beyond her threshhold for frustration, she goes into a raging state.

PTSD: Of course, being a child of the war and having narrowly survived the battle (see events below), Hannah suffers from horrible PTSD and panic attacks. Most of this is manifested in dreams and can contribute to her temper when questioned. She doesn't often talk about it at all, unless it's with someone she trusts implicitly, but it is a definite negative factor in her life.

Follower: Not a natural born leader, apart from successfully being able to manage the oldest wizarding pub in London, Hannah would rather follow along, and coupled with her naivite, it has led her into trouble in the past, and could possibly do so in the future.

LIKES: A good drink and cheesy film with a girlfriend, a nice night out whether it's a date or not, caramel, peaches, all kinds of animals, making her friends laugh or cheering them up, music (both muggle and wizard wrock), doing well in healer training, making up a new drink to serve, a really nice strong cuppa.

DISLIKES: Liars, fakes, gossip, rye, the extreme cold or extreme heat, people taking advantage of her friends or even herself, being alone, nightmares.

First Sign of Magic: Hannah showed that she was magical very early. At only 8 months, she had made the mobile in her crib move and play music on it's own. There were tiny little plush rabbits on the mobile and that's why her father calls her 'little rabbit' to this day.

On the Train: Her mother and father were so proud when Hannah had inevitably received her letter to attend Hogwart's and happily, she boarded the train at 9 3/4 for her first year. Though, she suddenly had felt very alone sitting in the train car all by herself, punctual as can be. That was until Ernie Macmillan came looking for a place to sit and Hannah welcomed him. The two became fast friends and learned they were in the same house later that night. They both made many friends in their house - Susan Bones, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Zacharias Smith, and Hannah's best girlfriend, Megan Jones. In all of that, Hannah did harbour a very strong schoolgirl crush of Cedric Diggory - he was the man... and in their house and so very nice to all the first years, Hannah couldn't help herself. When he was eventually killed, Hannah was devastated and inconsolable - but since she wasn't with Cedric, only his friend, people thought she was over-reacting when in fact, her heart was well and truly broken.

Breakdown: The first indication Hannah had that she may have some sort of mental illness was during their Herbology OWLs when she'd had a breakdown, saying she was 'too stupid' to take the tests. She spent a few days in the infirmary, very glad for Madam Pomfrey keeping people away so they didn't gawk. Some of her friends did try to visit, but she had felt ashamed and pretended to be asleep - she could even hear Seamus Finnigan putting up one hell of an argument trying to get in to see her. It made her happy, but guilty that she didn't even want to face her closest friends.

Mum's Gone: When Hannah was 16, her father showed up at the school unexpectedly - he never took time off work so Hannah knew there was something definitely wrong. Her mother had been killed, and it was suspicious death. Hannah didn't return back to class, or school for the rest of the year. She returned home with her father where he tried his very best to keep her safe because the suspects in her mother's murder were Death Eaters targeting half-bloods and muggleborns. Hannah went quiet except for brief contact with Megan and Ernie...only they really knew that Hannah harboured a resentment towards her father for not keeping her mother safe and only focused on her well-being now that she was in danger as well. But what could she really do - she couldn't hate him, it wasn't in her to hate anyone let alone her own father.

Final Battle: Hannah did return back to school and signed up with Dumbledore's Army along with Ernie, Justin, Susan and Megan. Harry himself had to find a way for Hannah to get to the room of requirement and once there, she excelled at defense against the dark arts, she's able to produce a patronus in the form of a hummingbird. When it came time to fight alongside her classmates, she did so proudly, but not without fear or coming out unscathed. At one point she was fighting side-by-side with Seamus Finnigan and the two had the killing curse shot at them - Harry Potter shielded the curse that was cast by Lord Voldemort and the pair were saved. Almost dying together created a strong bond between Hannah and Seamus and remained very good friends. Hannah still has nightmares and suffers from PTSD from the events during the battle. As much as she tried to immediately recover by helping Madam Pomfrey with the injured, she was still troubled on the inside, but found a talent for healing in the process.

Coming Into Her Own: After staying an extra year with a few others, including Hermione Granger, Hannah finished her schooling and immediately found a job. She took over as the landlady of the Leaky Cauldron despite her father's insistence that she could get a nice desk job at the Ministry and work her way up. That wasn't for Hannah. She needed to keep busy and running the inn and pub was plenty busy for her. Of course though, she started taking night courses to become a Healer. It would take longer, but, that's the time she had to spare while she continued to work and make a name for herself as one of the youngest witches to run the oldest wizarding pub in London.
