History:

• Born to a flighty artistic Muggleborn and a serious smart halfblood.
• Her mother took her and left before Lavender's fifth birthday and moved in with a Muggle boyfriend.
• Lavender's half-brother is born, then her mother and step-father got married in a weird throw paint on the walls ceremony.
• She had her first signs of magic and her mother kind of ignored them a bit.
• For Christmas when she's 7, she got a bunny rabbit and was devastated when she went to Hogwarts and couldn't take him with her.
• Went off the Hogwarts and didn't want to be sorted like either of her parents so asked to be anywhere else but maybe somewhere with the gold because it looked like her hair.
• She was sorted into Gryffindor.
• After a dire prediction in Divination in third year, her mother owled her to say her rabbit passed away.
• Went to the Yule Ball in fourth year with Seamus Finnigan.
• Has been dating around since fifth year because she just really loves kissing and dating and boys.

Canon Differences:

I always find that towards her 7th year, Lavender (along with most of her classmates) gets harder. Especially after the battle of Hogwarts changes her life drastically. In this version of reality, she doesn't get mauled by a werewolf, and she doesn't lose friends. What would happen to a 17 year old Lavender Brown without the war and worry about the Carrows around? I imagine she's quite a bit like HBP Lavender, though more. She's flirty and funny and friendly. She doesn't have an ideal reason to obsess over Ron Weasley or giggle about Harry Potter. She has her friends in the same way, but she's lighter, airier, and freer.
