Update from Dumbledore regarding last night. His version was more fanciful, and Moody is too restless to hold a quill apparently. So you're stuck with my version.
Bones is dead. Scrimgeour is dealing with it. As far as anyone knows, she was killed outside of the Ministry. It is paramount that Goldstein does not think that his "defences" have been breached.
One of you killed Wilkes. Not the killing curse - something that sent him flying backwards. Looks like he landed awkwardly. Broke his neck. Again, he has been taken outside the Ministry.
McKinnon is missing. It's unlike Death Eaters to take prisoners in battle; they must have grabbed her for a reason. We need to find her as quickly as possible, after they have got what they want out of her she will be killed.
We have Rodolphus Lestrange sedated in a safehouse. Obviously, the first thought is to hand him over to the DMLE, but after what Goldstein did to Rowle we're at something of a moral quandary. We will get as much information out of him as possible and then decide. However, he doesn't seem to want to co-operate.
Voldemort got to the prophecy, but Dumbledore quickly caught up to him and it shattered. Albus is not 100% sure how much was heard, however, the fact that he was after it in the first place suggests he's still interested in the Potters. The Longbottoms acted as a distraction last time, but...obviously, they are not here today to divide his attention.
Any other updates? Obviously, keep your involvement as need-to-know as possible. The public - and the Ministry - should be none the wiser. At least on our end.
