Born in Kansas City, The Big Bad Wolfe moved to Brooklyn when he was only 14, to live with a boxing coach that was going to train him to be a heavyweight fighter. It didn't take long for them both to figure out that while Chris' natural attitude, cockiness, and recklessness would be a hindrance to him as a boxer, they'd take him far as a pro wrestler. The coach put him in touch with a friend who ran a wrestling school, and the rest is history.

Training for a few years until he turned 18, Chris hit the indies as soon as he could, and carved out an impressive career over the next 7 years, being lauded especially for his high-octane, brutally stiff feud with Tyler Grey, which spanned several indie promotions.

When NFW was rebooted, they signed both Chris and Tyler, and put them together as a tag team in the stable known as The Circle of Snakes. Eventually though, Chris broke out on his own, making a huge splash by making it all the way to the finals of the inaugural Vlad Blackheart Memorial Tournament, where he eventually fell to Judas Lasher.

After feeling as though he'd hit his ceiling in NFW, Chris made the jump to DPW when invited by Lasher, as the mutual respect they'd built during the program they worked gave him confidence he'd be used far better there.
