Describe your sorting in 1-2 sentences: It was quite fun, and rightly so the hat put her in Ravenclaw.
Most canon house trait that matches your personality: Unusual perception and high intelligence. Luna, despite all her oddities, is highly perceptive in a way most people aren't. She's also very smart, finding the answer in her own type of logic.
Classes: Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, History of Magic, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Astronomy, Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures, and Divination

Explain in 1-2 sentences which class is your favorite and which is your least: Care of Magical Creatures is Luna's favorite class, hands down. Even if the teaching has been... inconsistent. Herbology is her least favorite class, given the lack of creativity one can take in it.
Explain in 1-2 sentences which professor is your favorite and which is your least: Professor Flitwick, because he's nice. She doesn't care much for Professor Sprout or Professor Snape, for their class and personalities, respectively.

Extracurriculars: Originally, Luna was part of Dumbledore's Army which was the only real extracurricular activity she was a part of.
Your most personal space is your bed. Describe your area in 1-2 sentences: Messy in the way where she knows where everything is but everyone else might be a bit confused. She has her own system of things, and though its messy it isn't sloppy or disgusting.

History

Important Relationships: Luna is closest with her father. After her mother's death, her father raised her alone and she loves him and respects him more than anything else. Second to that, are her friendships with Harry, Ginny, and Neville in particular. They are the kindest and most understanding towards her, though she also loves Ron and Hermione a lot, despite the fact that Ron doesn't always get her and she finds Hermione to be close-minded.

» Losing her mother changed Luna quite a bit. Though her personality is still quite the same as when she was younger, she has a deep sadness in her from losing her mother and a fear of losing the others closest to her. It shaped a lot of her interactions when she was younger.
» Joining Dumbledore's Army/Declaring her alliance with Harry Potter. Both of these things were the gateway to becoming friends with Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, and Neville. These were the best times of her life and the reason she made friends.
» What happened at the Ministry. Luna's bravery and loyalty to her friends really shone there, and defined her in the sense as actually being capable in a fight, always remaining level headed and encouraging.

Just a few things to note here...

— If her birthday is September 1st, she actually wouldn't start at Hogwarts until the following year. (JKR math is ridiculous, we know.) You also note a January birthday, though. If it's September, it will need to be 1980. If it's January, it should be 1981. Either way, to be a 6th year student, she would start in 1992.

— We'd like to see two or three more bullet points in her history, just to flesh out her background a bit more. Perhaps more in reaction to her mother's death, or about her father's actions in relation to the war or other political events that followed?

	Done! There wasn't much to add for war-purposes, seeing as Xeno didn't even hint at any sort of stance until the second war when he published Harry's story. But I added some info in there anyway! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
