It's so sad to hear about these protests and people getting hurt because of them. It's almost as if flibbertywops managed to get into people's heads and caused all these kerfuffles.

[Private to the Order and D.A.]
I hope all of you are safe and not being put in danger by these protests. I feel as though I'm being lazy, sitting back and not doing anything to rebel except for existing, but going into Diagon Alley or anywhere else that is that close to the public eye, well I haven't be comfortable doing that for a long time now, even before all this started.

I do not know this word, flibbertywops. Can you explain it, please?

They're little insects that crawl into people's brains through their ears and make them go a little mad.

That sounds uncomfortable. Are they common in England?

They're small enough that you can't feel them -- that's the extra scary part! They are fairly common in England, especially in highly populated areas.

I have never heard of such things. How can they be prevented?

There are a few different ways. If you suspect you're in an area with them around, you can run around in circles, flapping your arms like a chicken. That tends to scare them away for a good few hours. Or if you just want personal protection from them, you can rub daisies against your ears and that keeps them off.

I do not feel anything, but I do not see anybody else behaving like that, so I have to assume there are none close by.

Hopefully you're safe. Personally, I never take any chances and always keep some daisies on hand if I'm able.

Of course! It's important for everyone to be aware of such possibilities and the ways to prevent them.
