Faithful
Lucy's faith plays a big part in who she is and who she eventually grows up to be throughout the series. When the Beavers first explain about Aslan, Lucy feels in her heart how important he is, especially after he forgives Ed.

When the siblings return to Narnia, it's Lucy who first spots Aslan. Lucy who points him out to her elder siblings. Lucy comments he gets bigger and Aslan responds he will grow as Lucy does. And, when it's eventually said Lucy can't return, so she can know Aslan in her world, she's heartbroken and doesn't want to leave, but trusts that Aslan knows what he's doing.

Bravery
Lucy might have been the first one to explore Narnia, which probably speaks more to her curiosity, she did it with a sense of awe, not fear. Perhaps, in her mind, she used her only fear during the Blitzkrieg.

She's willing to walk with Aslan, unsure what she'll see. Even the first battle in Narnia, Lucy ran towards it to help those in need.

If adventure is a possibility, then Lucy wants in on it, she wants to explore. She's not going to back down just because she's a girl or the youngest sibling. Lucy wants to run into it, head held high. She's called The Valiant for a reason.

Performing Arts
As one of the queens of Narnia during the Golden Age, at the age of eight, Lucy found herself with a lot of time on her hands, in the early years. Unlike her older siblings, she didn't have nearly as much responsibility as the youngest in the beginning. As such, she decided to learn performing arts. Lucy took up ballet and every type of dance known in Narnia. As well, she learned piano and percussion.

Once home, she couldn't explain to anyone outside of her siblings how she'd become so good at these arts, so she hid her abilities. That doesn't mean Lucy didn't practice these things where she wouldn't be asked a myriad of questions.

Her relationship with her siblings
Susan: During the Golden Age, and up until Susan decided Narnia didn't exist, Susan would do Lucy's hair every morning. It was their main sister time, where they could talk and Lucy could try to make her sister laugh. Susan would be the one to point out when a suiter was interested in Lucy, although Lucy never seemed to have those feelings, at least not yet.

After: Susan drifting away hurt Lucy in a way it didn't their brothers if you asked Lucy. And, because Lucy second guesses herself, on occasion Susan saying things like 'isn't it funny what we used to pretend' causes Lucy to wonder if she had imagined it, even while knowing she didn't.

Yes, occasionally Luce feels jealousy about how easily Susan moves in the human world and how beautiful she is.

Peter: Lucy is the baby of the family. Even before Narnia, Peter treats her carefully, as though she's breakable. This doesn't change after the Battle at Beruna. Lucy has her cordial and can heal anyone with a drop of it. She may not have been in the fray, but she witnessed the aftermath. She ran around trying to save as many wounded as possible and still has nightmares about it.

But Peter? Peter won't even allow her to go with the healers when she's young, even though she could do good. Sometimes he's too indulgent with his little sister, who is obviously his favoured sibling. He seems to forget that his sister didn't see the effects of the battle.

Ed: Lucy forgives Ed a whole lot easier than Ed forgives himself after his involvement with the White Witch. But, in some ways, she can be more honest with him than their elder siblings, because their closeness in age means Ed views her more as an equal than the baby of the family. She's the one who will try to help cheer up Ed and...eventually explains to him what happens at the Stone Table during a walk where they're engaged in honesty.

Medicine
Lucy, (after much much much convincing of Peter) when she's finally in her teenage years, is allowed to train with the healers in Narnia. Yes, she possessed her cordial, but Lucy wants to learn the ways of her subjects, including what different species require for various ailments. (After all setting a faun's leg will differ from a broken wing.) She is not as gifted as some, but she makes up for it with dedication and study.

After Peter begins his studies as a doctor, Lucy begins to toy with the idea of becoming a nurse. She wants to help people and, as a female, it's much easier for her to join the nursing ranks. And, after all, she adores her eldest brother.

Returning after the Golden Age
Lucy is, in some ways, the most accepting that they return to the age they were when they entered Narnia. If no time passed, it makes sense she's back to being eight year old. After all, what would people say if she'd left at the age of 8, no time passed, and she returned at 22 Plus, quite honestly, it means she can have morea dventures without worrying about marriage. This doesn't mean she doesn't wish to look the age she feels at all, because her lived experience, like her siblings, is much older than the ages they appear. But, she's the most upset about losing access to Narnia and is forever looking for ways to return between the Golden Age and meeting Caspian. Heck, one time at a friend's she suggested Hide & Seek just to see if her friend's wardrobe would send her back (although she would feel terrible if she managed it without her siblings) Even if she returns as the age she is, she wants to go back.
