001. PRIVATE
I don't usually have trouble pulling the 'love 'em & leave 'em' routine. But I keep second guessing myself now. I should have at least talked to Ty before leaving. He probably doesn't even know I'm gone, but. What if he does? How horrible am I for just. Leaving without a goodbye? Again. It just .. life seems so much simpler without having to worry about him. The longer I stayed around him, the more I wanted to tell him everything. And the more I realized I couldn't. Not just because he's a cop, but. I guess that factors into it. But the worst part about Ty was .. knowing I would have to face the same ridicule, the same disappointment, albeit for completely unrelated reasons, that my parents used to dish out. And I'm not anxious to revisit those feelings or thoughts again any time soon. I really should have talked to him.
