"Journalism without a moral position is impossible. Every journalist is a moralist. It's absolutely unavoidable. " - Marguerite Duras
age/dob: 31 affiliation: A simple mortal in the envious (?) position of having caught the eye of a god. misc/other
Michaela is a journalist who visited Las Vegas for a conference for her job and ended up quite literally running into a god (Hermes). She doesn't know everything or everyone, by far, but she has obviously been tipped off to the fact that the gods -- at least some of them -- are real.
{| HISTORY |}
If someone had tried to convince Michaela that the gods were real and that there really were immortal forces at work in the world, she would have laughed. Hard. Then she met a god-in-the-flesh and she had to believe. Not that she'd change that fateful collision for a moment, and not that she regrets a single moment of the time she's spent with Hermes. She just has a sense that she stands on the edge of something so enormous that it might simply devour her.
Which feeds the thrill-seeking, curiosity-investigating part of her that guided her in to journalism in the first place. She is curious, maybe even nosy, but does her best not to intentionally upset people if it can be avoided. She is bold and often direct and perhaps a little less cautious than she ought to be.

I am often around, though I do tend to wander off. I'm currently primarily a small business owner, so I have the luxury of making my own hours. That also means I may be doing work at all hours, so patience is a good thing.
