1) Character Name: Tameka Hogans

8) Background: Tameka was born two minutes before her twin sister, Tamara. Even though they were twins, they weren’t anything alike growing up. Tameka played softball while Tamara played with dolls. Tamara made straight A’s while Tameka ran with a wild crowd. You get the picture. One thing that they did share was an affinity toward magic. Their grandmother had been a witch, but it had skipped a generation and went straight to the young girls. She had trained them when the girls were young, but their magic had went different ways. Tamara turned out to be more of a healer witch, and Tameka had abilities that ran more toward necromancy. It wasn’t that Tameka was a bad witch, per say, that was just where her abilities lay. She could create life along with destroying it, after all.

Both of the girls work at Ashes to Ashes, and are both very knowledgeable about the supernatural. Tamara also attends college, but Tameka wants to make magic her full time occupation somehow. She just hasn’t figured out exactly how she is going to do that yet.

9) Personality: Tameka’s personality is a little more on the quiet and contemplative side. She may have her more playful and outgoing times, when she’s with someone that she’s comfortable with, but those people are few and far between. She makes sure to be helpful in the magic shop, though, not wanting to scare customers away, as she already has a very ‘alternative’ look to her.
10) Powers:
-Magic – Tameka’s particular specialty is necromancy, the ability to both create and destroy life. Thus, if she ever runs into a vampire that pisses her off…well, he’s pretty much screwed six ways from Sunday.
11) Skills:
She’s…actually kinda basically talentless unless you count her magical abilities. It’s where she had put all of her energies growing up. She’s fairly smart, decent with numbers and money from her work at the shop, but there’s nothing really special about her mundane abilities.
