I don't much see the point of gossip magazines.

It's better to focus on Yule. I'm not sure what plans to make this year. Normally, Gran and I would have dinner the night before so I could spend the day with my parents. It's about time to start thinking of gifts and all that, I suppose. I never know what to get them or what happens with the presents, actually, though last year, Mum seemed to wear her slippers quite a bit.

Have you considered restraints?

But barring that, alcohol -- lots of it and books.

I know a place that does good alcohol bouquets if you want to present it a little better. Not that she cares what the alcohol looks like.

True she's not exactly the warmest or nicest person. I could go with you if you want. I visit with my dad the night before and I can get out of going to Mother and Father Goyle's house for Yule.
