As a rule, the Kree are not a spiritual people. We try to simply live and die well. My parents were scientists, and believed that the spark of consciousness, perhaps what Terrans would call a soul, as a form of energy, was effectively indestructible. It could be changed and morphed, but not destroyed.
I never saw the point in their believes. If a person dies, they are gone, regardless if some fragment of their consciousness is absorbed back into Eternity.
Now though, I can see how one would find comfort in such stories, regardless of their intellectual rigor.
