IN CHARACTER
Name: The Doctor (Tenth) - among others...
OC or Canon?: Canon
From a previous game?: No
Fandom: Doctor Who
Canon Puncturable?: Sure, why not
Age: (Who knows <_<) Real age: Unknown...roughly 900-ish but he's stated he's older before when he was younger so, he either lies, rounds up/down or has gotten on confused and lost count (or gave up counting). Physically looks in his 30s.
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Supposedly asexual but straight ;)
Species: Timelord/Gallifreyan
PB: David Tennant
Special abilities:
Abilities: The Doctor has a very advanced brain, such that he possesses several mental abilities. Most noticeably telepathy; can communicate with other telepathic races or beings - or can look into the mind of someone by touch (unless absolutely necessary, he will not enter another's mind uninvited) - can also share his thoughts with non-telepaths and allow them to temporarily hear things that are usually only heard telepathically (again, by touch.) In times of psychic or physiological stress Time Lords may even enter a self-induced coma.
Empathy: The Doctor's empathy is stronger than his telepathic skills, this is most probably because of his empathic nature towards other species and people – a trait that was frowned upon whilst in the Academy due to it being considered a 'distraction' for other abilities.
He also has a telepathic and empathic link with his ship, the TARDIS.
He also has very low level telekinesis but doesn't use it often (in fact, only in desperate situations) as it's very likely to weaken him greatly or cause him to fall into a coma.
Time-sensitivity: As a Time lord, the Doctor can see/sense the past, presents, and all possible futures. He can also perceive which events in Time are 'fixed' or in 'flux'. He can at times, sense certain aspects of an individual's Timeline. He is aware of his own Timeline enough to not intentionally cross it. Despite being able to sense these things, they are not always clear at first (sometimes not at all) and it can take him a while to work out why his brain 'itches'.
Regeneration: When the Doctor is critically injured, he can regenerate his body but in doing so gains a new physical appearance and with it, a distinct new personality.
Skills: Heightened senses (particularly, taste, hearing & night vision.); above average stamina, speed and agility. Knows numerous amounts of languages and his psychic abilities allow him to 'learn' any unknown languages very quickly.
The Doctor's greatest ability is his intellect. He is vastly more intelligent than any human, with extensive knowledge of most sciences, and an extremely quick and adaptive mind. He is resistant to forms of mental coercion such as hypnosis, brainwashing, mind control or mind probes (to a degree).
He is a brilliant engineer, well known for his ability to build a device for any circumstances he encounters. If what he needs is not to hand he often jury-rigs temporary equipment to combat the evils he comes across. His most common tool (other than his TARDIS) is the sonic screwdriver, which can be adapted to a number of uses, most commonly to open locked doors of all varieties. He tends to store a variety of useful (somewhat) objects in his pockets, which he admits have an extra dimension sewn into them, making them much bigger on the inside.
Weaknesses: Unstable - The Tenth Doctor has always been more on the manic side, this could be due to the fact his regeneration went a bit 'wrong' initially but also he has lost a lot in his long life. He needs someone to stop him nowadays but with his sudden vow to never take on another companion
Arrogance - Time Lords have always been arrogant and believed themselves above other races but the Doctor was always different, his empathy for other species and the fact he always wants to help being a big factor for his difference. However, he does find himself falling into arrogance nowadays, especially as the last of his kind.
Loneliness/grief - The Doctor has lost so many people in his long life and each have slowly hit his hearts hard. He is harder now, a lot of his mercy gone but he is also, ultimately, more breakable than he ever was. The odds of one more loss tipping him over the edge becoming more and more likely every day.
Disruptions in Time - They make him wonky, for want of a better word. The larger the disruption the more it could make him ill.
Others - Probably the Doctor's ultimate weakness is other people. He will always put others before himself.
Also - Allergic to a lot of Human medication. So much in fact, that a single aspirin would kill him.

Personality: The Tenth Doctor generally displays a light-hearted, talkative, easy-going, witty and somewhat cheeky manner, but combines this with a somewhat egocentric sense of unstoppability when facing his enemies. He is perhaps as ruthless and dangerous as his seventh incarnation ever was, although much less inclined to, or capable of, complex schemes and set goals. This emerged early on when he sent the Sycorax leader (who was attacking him from behind) falling to his death while commenting that, with him, there were "no second chances." He acknowledges that he is less merciful than he used to be and has stuck to his "one warning" code, punishing his enemies if they persist in their hostilities. Like his past selves, he is critical of weapons. His strong personal sense of justice makes him quick to anger when he feels it is violated.
Like the Seventh and Ninth Doctor, the Tenth sometimes uses a cheerful, energetic façade to mask inner emotions. He has a tendency to babble, mixing apparent nonsense with vital information, sometimes acting erratically to put his enemies off guard like some of his earlier incarnations. He can also be rude on occasion, and is not always aware of it, being prone to making comments that to outsiders seem obtuse or rude, sometimes to his own embarrassment.
He has a tendency to use technobabble to describe scientific concepts before substituting it with a simpler, analogous explanation. Further to this, he tends to infantilise names and concepts - his description of non-linear temporal physics as "a big ball of wibbly wobbly, timey wimey stuff" is perhaps the most well known example. He is also able to rapidly switch between moods, from mania to anger to nonchalance and uses this as a form of reverse psychology on several occasions. Te Doctor is, despite constant interaction with others, a lonely person deep down. He describes the ability of Time Lords to live so long as a curse, because while his human companions all someday leave him and eventually die, he continues to live.
While the Ninth was somewhat standoffish in certain situations, particularly "domestics", the Tenth is more extroverted and gregarious, having quickly established a firmer rapport with Rose Tyler's friends and family than he ever did in his previous incarnation, though his talkativeness sometimes irritates others not used to him. He is openly fond of mankind and is apparently in awe of their tenacity and curiosity, a trait previously exhibited by his fourth incarnation. Doesn't always get sayings and certain phrases. Has a tendency to prattle about anything and everything. Despite his age and intelligence, he is rather naive and, at times, dense. And can be quite absent-minded at times.
However, There was an undeniable shadow cast over the jollity of the Doctor. He had a ruthlessness, bordering on arrogance that was almost eerie to behold. Beneath his youthful veneer, the Doctor is a very old man who has seen many terrible things; and in some matters, his patience and capability for mercy and compassion has worn out or diminished. His exuberant demeanour somewhat disappeared after the loss of Rose, and he became angrier and more sober. The Doctor has a very hard time accepting defeat or failure. Arguably this may be because he has seen so much destruction he feels driven to try to prevent it where possible.
He frequently gets into trouble because of his vast and loose sense of superiority and his dislike/disregard for authority and rules and regulations.
The Doctor frequently ignores reproach; when companions point out he's committing horrible acts, he ignores them or changes the subject. The Doctor is willing to go to extreme lengths to keep the historic timeline from being disrupted and/or protect innocent civilizations, even to the point of having to cause deaths. However, as time went on, he became more hesitant to kill, choosing often to give his enemies a chance to surrender without suffering any harm. This is a change he attributes to Rose Tyler, telling her she helped him overcome a time in his life that was "full of blood and anger", eventually making him a "better man".
Likes: TARDIS; Humans. Earth. Bananas! Tea! Helping people. Science. Edible ball bearings on cakes. Mechanics, ie: repairing and building things. Everything?
Dislikes: Disruption of Time. Paradoxes. Daleks. Cybermen. Pears! Guns, needless violence, Mind wipes.
Items carried: Sonic Screwdriver. Slightly-Psychic paper. A pair of dark tortoise-shell rectangular framed glasses. Key to TARDIS. Bits and bobs in his pockets include; stethoscope; clockwork mouse; string; sweets; random electrical parts; diary; quill pen; paperclip; bananas; elastic band ball; water pistol...
History: [As the Doctor has the ability to regenerate, he is currently on his Tenth body. Despite retaining the memories/mind of his previous bodies, the most relevant history for this particular one was from when he regenerated from Nine to Ten.]
When the Doctor absorbed the Time Vortex from his companion, Rose Tyler, the forces contained in himself began to destroy every cell in his body. He regenerated for a ninth time to save his life. The Doctor immediately de-materialized the TARDIS from its location on Satellite 5, leaving the now-immortal Captain Jack Harkness (made so by the Bad Wolf) behind.
The Doctor piloted the ship back to Powell Estate in London on Christmas Eve 2006 and lapsed into a comatose state, but snapped out of it briefly and then for a longer time in order to beat back an invasion of planet Earth by the Sycorax on Christmas morning. During this adventure he had his hand cut off while in a sword fight with the Sycorax leader but, still retaining enough cellular energy from his regeneration, grew it back.
The Doctor and Rose embarked on adventures together through time and space. Their first adventure together was their trip to New Earth. They were summoned to the New New York hospital. There the Doctor toppled the regime that the Sisters of Plenitude had developed. The sisters were creating human clones with no sentience and infecting them with every disease in the world in order to find cures. During this time, they also encountered Cassandra. During this time, they also encountered Cassandra. Cassandra possessed Rose's body, but the Doctor eventually convinced Cassandra to "end it." The Doctor here also sees the Face of Boe. He summoned them via the psychic paper. The Face thought he was going to die, but the Doctor's actions with the new humans encouraged him to keep living.
Next, they took a trip to 1879 Scotland. There the Doctor and Rose stopped a werewolf from biting Queen Victoria and starting The Empire of the Wolf. As a reward, he was knighted as Sir Doctor of TARDIS and Rose was knighted as Dame Rose of the Powell Estate. They were then banished from the British Empire, since their blasé attitude to danger unnerved the Queen. The Doctor also inadvertently inspired Queen Victoria to found the Torchwood Institute.
Back on 21st century Earth, the Doctor went undercover as John Smith, a physics teacher at a school, which the Krillitanes had infiltrated. The Doctor had a chance reunion with his old friends Sarah Jane Smith and K-9. He also allowed Mickey Smith to accompany him at Sarah Jane's suggestion. Mickey had been invited aboard the TARDIS by the Ninth Doctor, but declined saying he would not be able to handle that life. At the time, Mickey did not want Rose to know it was his own choice not to go. The Doctor obliged and made it seem that it was he, the Doctor, who vetoed Rose's suggestion. Mickey asked to join, Sarah Jane encouraged it, and the Doctor ignored Rose's mimed request to say no.
The Doctor, Rose and Mickey next met a pre-teen girl Reinette (later known as Madame de Pompadour.) She would grow up to be a beautiful noblewoman living in 18th century Versailles. The Doctor saved her as a child from the Clockwork Droids. The droids and Reinette were connected by a fireplace in her bedroom and simultaneously on board the SS Madame De Pompadour. The Doctor saved her several times throughout her life and was strongly affected by her death.
On a parallel Earth, he Rose and Mickey witnessed the birth of that universe's Cybermen. This adventure ends with Mickey deciding to stay on this other world.
The Doctor and Rose then tried to see an Elvis concert, but accidentally ended up in England. It was June 2, 1953, just in time to witness the Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation. During the broadcast of the coronation though, the Doctor defeated the Wire. She was a being which stole victims' faces while they were watching television.
The Doctor and Rose then ended up on the planet Krop Tor which was orbiting a black hole. The Doctor and a researcher from the crew of Sanctuary Base 6 named Ida, went exploring underground. The mission to Krop Tor was to discover the source of power emanating from the planet's core, which was allowing the planet to be orbiting a black hole without falling in. There they discovered a pit, into which the Doctor descended. Once he'd reached the bottom, he found himself face to face with the Beast. The Beast had been terrorizing the explorers up above and possessing their servants, the Ood. The beast had also possesed a crew member named Toby Zed. The Doctor trapped the Beast by imprisoning it in the black hole and was reunited with Rose and the TARDIS.
Some time later, he and Rose defeated an Abzorbaloff. This was a creature from the planet Clom which is the sister planet of Raxicoricfalapatorius from whence the Slitheen family hails. The abzorbaloff had infiltrated LINDA (London Investigative 'N' Detective Angency) which was a social group who were trying to find the Doctor.
He and Rose then went to 2012 to see the London Olympics. He met a girl called Chloe Webber who had been possessed by a lone Isolus. Chloe was trapping people in drawings to stop the Isolus from feeling lonely. After briefly being trapped in a drawing himself, along with the TARDIS, the Doctor carried the Olympic torch to the stadium and then reunited with Rose. While watching the firework display, the doctor noted that "a storm is coming..."
When the Doctor and Rose returned to present-day London, they found that the entire planet was being visited by beings believed to be ghosts. The Doctor tracked the signal to Torchwood Tower and was subsequently held prisoner by the Torchwood Institute. He strongly opposed their use of "ghost shifts" for a power source, since it was ripping a hole between parallel worlds which increased in size with every "ghost shift". The original tear was caused by "The Sphere", an object the Doctor identified as a Void Ship. Later, three computer technicians (who were secretly under the control of Cybermen) restarted the ghost shift. This lead to the realization that the ghosts were actually Cybermen, coming through from the parallel world where the Doctor and Rose had left Mickey. As the Cyberman invasion of Earth began, the Void Ship opened, revealing the Cult of Skaro, a group of Daleks with a Genesis Ark. The Genesis Ark was Time Lord technology which contained millions of Daleks that had been imprisoned by the Time Lords.
In order to save both dimensions from annihilation and defeat the Daleks and Cybermen, the Doctor had to open the Void. This opening would suck anything covered in "Void stuff" into it. Realising that himself, Rose and the others were also covered in Void stuff, the Doctor sent Rose, against her will, to the parallel world, along with Mickey, Pete Tyler and her mother, where they all would be safe from the Void. However, Rose returned, refusing to leave the Doctor and knowing that in making her choice she would never see her family again. Together, the Doctor and Rose opened the Void and the Daleks and Cybermen were sucked in. The plan initially went smoothly, until Rose's lever malfunctioned, threatening to halt the process. Rose managed to secure the lever but couldn't hold on and was almost sucked into the Void, much to the Doctor's terror and despair. Rose was saved at the last second by her parallel father and taken back across to the parallel universe, separating her from the Doctor. The Doctor and Rose were able to meet one last time on Dålig Ulv Stranden in Norway; the Doctor orbiting a supernova for enough power to project an image through the last gap between the universes to say goodbye.
Whilst he was grieving over Rose, a bride named Donna Noble, to the Doctor's shock, appeared inside the TARDIS during her wedding ceremony. The Doctor discovered the involvement of the ancient Racnoss and defeated them. After the Doctor's destruction of the Racnoss, and largely because of the Doctor's merciless treatment of them (and the face he almost let himself die), Donna decided not to travel with him and left after telling the Doctor to "find someone."
