Steve Rogers did not skip leg day.
Standing at 6'2" and weighing in at 240 pounds, one word that might come to mind of Steve's physical appearance when someone first sees him is intimidating.
The super soldier serum amplifies everything about a person, and in Steve's case, that took him from 5'4" and suffering a laundry list of ailments to the man he is today. It gave him incredible endurance and energy. He runs over thirteen miles every morning, and spends countless hours boxing in the gym.But it isn't just his physical appearance that was changed by the serum, and it doesn't take long for anyone meeting him to realize there is a lot more to him than just the name

The serum given to him by Erskine has enhanced Steve's strength, stamina, agility, and durability to what can only be described as superhuman levels. He also has enhanced healing abilities and is also immune to drug intoxication, as his metabolism works too quickly for them to take any effect.

Through his time in the war and beyond, Steve has picked up a number of different fighting styles, and has become accomplished with a number of weapons. His first preference and what he will always be most comfortable with is his shield, which he uses as a weapon as much as for defence.

Steve's role as Captain has become more than just the honorary title he was originally given. He's an excellent strategist, and can plan his way out of (or into) just about any situation. He approaches conflict with a level headedness and pragmatism needed to get the job done. Combined with his natural authority, he tends to take charge in a situation, living up to his reputation as a leader.
HISTORY
Steve's idea of utopia begins and ends with a sense of freedom. Not necessarily for himself, but for those around him. He lives in a world where everyone can express themselves however they choose to, without fear of reprisal as long as it's hurting no one.
Steve is the art teacher at the local high school. Since starting there he's become casually acquainted with the chemistry teacher, Natasha Romanoff. They tend to spend lunches together, discussing the goings on with the students and engaging in harmless banter. In the evenings he enjoys catching up on his own art, listening to music, and just generally enjoying a peaceful life.
He thinks sometimes about settling down, but he hasn't found the right girl yet. There's something there holding him back, though he can never put his finger on what that is.
