FANDOM: Vampire Diaries PB: Steven R. McQueen CANON POINT: Season 4, episode 14 after his death by Silas with the help of Katherine
PERSONALITY & HISTORY
Jeremy has had a very difficult life and he's got plenty of scars - internal and external - to show for it. He's found many ways to deal with the painful things that affect him and tends to move from one vice to the next. First with smoking pot to escape and drawing away his pain, then drinking to get over his issues, then bouncing from woman to woman, until eventually he found hunting and that gave him something to hold onto. He continues to have an addictive personality and can't seem to find something that makes it all "better", no matter how hard he tries to.
The pain that he feels inside makes it difficult for him to trust people, especially since he became a hunter. The people that he thought he could trust often end up being exactly the ones that he needs to avoid. He's gotten to a point where he's always worried that the people he meets are secretly out to get him. He's looking for a way to nix that thought, but it's always there in the back of his mind.
Jeremy tries to come off as confident and self assured, but he's really just the same dorky kid he was a few years ago. Fact of the matter is that he's not sure which way is up and just when he thinks he knows exactly how to move forward, something blindsides him and makes his world spin to another true north.
• Jeremy has shown medium abilities, though they will mostly just come through as voices now. He tries to ignore them, but there is still a presence of ghost-like noises no matter how much he pretends that they are gone for good.
• Jeremy is skilled with killing vampires. Because of this, he knows his way around a stake, knives, guns, and even a crossbow. He may not be an expert, as he's still just a teenager, but he was well on his way to learning what to do and what not to do with a weapon.
• Physically, Jeremy is quite toned and more than capable of putting up a fight.
BELONGINGS
Jeremy had only the clothes on his back when he was killed and thus came into the hotel with only those clothes and his shoes.
SAMPLES & PLOT
FIRST PERSON: You know, I thought it was for good this time. I thought that I would finally be dead. Really dead. Dead for the rest of forever. I was waiting for something... bright light, maybe, but no. No bright light. Only the hotel. This place. Whatever it is. I don't know what to think. I almost wonder if it's just some magical trick. Maybe they're all trying to bring me back. Or maybe they're not. Maybe they don't want to this time. God, I don't know.
God. That's funny. Would "God" let me die as many times as I have, bring me back all those times, and then let me end up here? Who the hell knows?
THIRD PERSON: He didn't know how he'd gotten there, but he knew he didn't want to be there any more. He wasn't so sure that he wanted to be home either, but he didn't want to be where he was. He couldn't figure it out. He wasn't sure how he'd gotten there or why he hadn't even felt the transit from where he'd been to where he was, but he supposed that wasn't surprising, not really. He knew he'd died. There was no way he'd lived through that. He knew what death felt like, after all.
After about half a dozen times or so, he was practically capable of writing a book about what death could be like. Too bad it wouldn't do him a damn bit of good in figuring out what the fuck to do now that he was here. Sitting there in that room, though, wasn't going to be the way to find out, so he sat up from the bed, looked around, committed everything he could to memory. Then he saw the note.
