September 1st. I've allowed myself to become distracted and now I'm paying the price. There's so much to get done before I become a fully fledged professor.

I've organised a homework schedule but am now wondering if its too harsh.

Given that the Squid has long since departed, I don't see what harm could come from such an incident. One might even say it would build character.

Theoretically speaking.

Indeed. And it would certainly foster a sense of camaraderie ; shared experiences crossing the boundaries of House divides.

Hypothetically. And entirely without coincidence that I shall eat my lunch tomorrow at the lakeside.

I have always thought that our incoming students ought to face a little more adversity prior to Sorting.

I hear the weather's meant to be lovely. Do enjoy.
