Evangeline is a Sphinx so she genetically inherits the lust for knowledge, but instead of wanting to know absolutely EVERYTHING the universe has to offer her she prefers to have knowledge that is of use to her personally, practical knowledge. She doesn't see the point in having a whole lot of knowledge that just sits there and is useless. Practicality is important to her, if it isn't practical and realistic she isn't very interested (though there are of course some exceptions). She finds it rather difficult to express her feelings and tends to keep a lot of it bottled up;l but if pressed for long enough about something she spews it out in a tantrum type thing and then is embarrassed and hides away. She tends to keep stuff relating to her family bottled up because she doesn't feel like dealing with it all, it's too hard. Eevee wants to be loved by someone, of course, but she doesn't know how to or even how to go about finding that someone. She isn't a huge dreamers and has a rather limited imagination when it comes to emotions and this idea of love. She doesn't believe in fate much and therefore doubts her love will just waltz on into her life one day. Everything happens for a practical reason and love is not practical- it's messy and complicates everything. Her main goals in life are to understand the reasons behind her parents deaths, why it rains, why people speak different languages, exact probabilities of certain events- an array of things important and practical to her. Her other goals include providing the best life for her sister and brother. She's grown up exceptionally fast and generated a maternal instinct as she makes decisions impacting her siblings lives. Her survival instincts are manipulated to focus more on looking out for those she cares about than herself, which is one of the main reasons she has little to nothing to do with humans- they took the two most important people in her life from her for no good reason and truth be told, she hates them- there are bound to be exceptions but humans as a whole are arrogant and ignorant- they hate and attack anything different for no good reason. She likes to think she's not like that that she'll give most people a chance before writing them off completely. Since her parents deaths she finds it hard to make connections but when she does she's extremely loyal and mostly open with them, it's hard to get her to open up completely and bare all. It takes a hell of a lot for her to leave the people she connects to.

Eevee was born to a wayward Sphinx of a mother who had been blinded by the idiocy of love and a Sphinx father who was only around when he wanted something. She lived a pretty crap couple of years with her mother in Compton where violence and abuse reign supreme. Her mother and Father bore two more children Henry and Susan; named by their Grandfather just as Eevee had been. Her Grandfather was there but not in any way helpful as he tried to teach his wayward daughter the errors of her ways. Eevee made friends with a human boy who couldn’t say Evangeline and instead nicknamed her Eevee his favourite Pokemon in the Pokemon series; it was a small endearment but one that has stood throughout her life. When Eevee was 9 her Mother left and never came back, little did they know- because they didn’t even have a television she’d been killed. It was a blessing to the kids if you ask Evangeline, their Grandfather took them in and treated them with both compassion and sternness. He passed on his policies of love, emotions and that the only intellect worth having is that which will get you somewhere in life, if it’s of no use it is not worth retaining. The kids were privately tutored in everything from arithmetic to manners and everything in between and in just a year they had surpassed other supernatural beings their age. The kids were given luxuries for their successes and treated with the utmost respect by their Grandfather. But even with all of these benefits Evangeline was forced to grow up incredibly quick and take the role of mother, mainly because she trusted no one else to rear her siblings and she thought she knew best. Her Grandfather commended her initiative and let her do as she wished; Even though this caused a lot of trust issues, emotional denial issues and personal issues for the young Sphinx. As soon as she was of age her Grandfather sent her to Mystic Veil Academy where she tended to stick to likeminded people who didn’t wish to express their emotions at every chance they were given. She still protected her family as best she could and made few friends. One particular friend she made was Callum Bell; who she bonded with well on many levels including emotionally, neither deals with their emotions well and do not necessarily deal with said emotions or vocalise them much, other than to each other. During her education she was very picky with what she took, only taking classes to benefit herself such as Sphinx and Shifter Psychology and Physiology, though sometimes she took classes for pure enjoyment like Sphinx literature; where she dreamed of the possibilities of some of the themes such as romance. She also tended to take on sports that enhanced her physical strength, agility and survival instincts- like archery and shooting. She never wanted to end up back in the slums. During her junior year she and Callum had this kind of relationship going on, though it wasn’t anything official because neither took the step to make it that way. In December of their senior year she had a pregnancy scare after sleeping with him and it really upset her but not being able to directly talk about it or see how they could even work past it- she didn’t feel they were serious enough to get through it so she tore away from him and has gone into a life of mostly solitude, avoiding him as much as possible and only being polite when there’s no other choice, but nothing deep and meaningful like she thought they might’ve had.
