[Warded to the Order of the Phoenix]

Okay. Full moon over. I trust everyone's gotten a bit of sleep. Time to get back to business.

We have names. They have names. We know what they're doing. What are we doing about them? It's time to get these bastards on the defensive.

So here's what we got:

- A plot from the Prewetts to lay a trap for some Death Eaters by imbibing at a pub in plain sight. We lay some people in the bar as backup and wait for an attack, and bam. Instant arrests.

- A couple of spies and help - you people have already said hello to the other Black, and Chloe Wilkes gave us the okay to include her name in the pot as well as the eyes of society. Wilkes, however, is not a full-fledged member, but she wanted her name given in case shit should hit the fan and she can help in any way. We've also got a few additional eyes, but they aren't giving their names at this juncture.

- A dueling and self-protection plan that we're implementing every few days, as well as a good warding and healing crew should the worst occur.

- A system of alert and communication that the Fearsome Five are working on. Any updates?

- New Members - we've talked about the Weasleys, the Tonkses, etc... anyone else want to pose a name or two?

- Longbottom's been working on Patronus training.

And there's probably more that I'm forgetting, but that's what comes to mind first. Anything else anyone wants to add? I'm all for the Prewetts plan of snaring a few of these bastards.

We're working out details, but we're going with it. No offense, Abe, but we thought the Hog's Head would be a bit too obviously connected with the Order, so we'll be doing it elsewhere.

Also, I'm guessing most - or at least some - of you have heard this already, but Meredith Watkins was attacked by vampires last night. Her sister is Her brother's an Auror, so this fits with the earlier attacks we've seen.

Operation Three Broomsticks: All in? And anyone else we should ask?

You took the words right out of my mouth, lad. It would be just a mite suspicious if we tried that at the Hog's Head. Unfortunately they're not that stupid.

For the same reason, I'll have to sit out helping on that one. It would look a little odd if I was not at the pub I own and run.

Plus, I mean, ABE. We've gotta save your fine establishment as the location of our victory drinks.

And if we manage to catch or arrest anyone, I've got veritaserum. We might have their names, but we need their plans.

That's all good. but we've been doing most of that. I think now that we have names we should find some way to push forward through official routes. If we can get warrants, we can find something. Particularly if we send in some reconnaissance first to know what we're looking for.

Don't know if I'm Think Remus and Caoimhe've been working on that list of properties. Figure we've got more options now. Between James and Sirius and me we can get around almost anywhere. Er Appreciate a warning about cats, though. Or kneazles. Terriers. Anything that

Right.

If it'll find my dad

I don't mean to interrupt, but I might be helpful on that count, given that I've seen most of the properties in question and whatnot. I suppose this is the time when I say to be grateful that Imogen Warrington is not a Death Eater? Her menagerie would certainly do a rat in.

We've been around a couple. Mulciber House, I think, after the Mr. and Mrs. Prewett disappeared.

Er Yeah. Good thing. Think she's the one that orders samples of every cake we make before she throws a party. The one the goose?

Yeah, the fun thing with warrants is that pesky probable cause requirement. We'll need to force them public enough so that Malfoy's money and Rookwood's charm don't buy the wrong people off - not to mention the people within the DMLE who are either potentially corrupt, puppets, or are under the Imperius.

Which is why I think the Prewett's plan is a good start. We need them doing predictable shit beyond the shadow of anyone's fucking doubt. And I like the reconnaisance idea.

I hope that this isn't impertinent to suggest, but it may be easier to catch some of them doing simply illegal things rather than Death Eater things. For example: the Outer Circle meets with an Inner Circle "sponsor" at least once a week for Unforgiveables practise, usually in the gardens of a country home. Might something like that be exploited?
