Original Devil's Tower profile Character Information Name: Mac True Name: Nicole Marie Chavez Gender: Female Age: 21 Birthday: April 4, 2000 Greatest Ambition: To survive and also to hold some kind of power over someone/something Physical Description: Height: 5’ 6” Weight: 125 lbs Eyes: Blue Hair: Long wavy dark brown
Long dark chestnut colored hair and piercing blue eyes combined with a very tight, fit, curvaceous body makes Mac very easy on the eyes. She can usually be seen wearing something black whether it be a t-shirt, pants, socks, even house shoes. She also prefers to wear form fitting tops with somewhat baggy, or ripped bottoms of some kind. Her hair is usually down, unless there is a big job to be done, and she has an abundance of make-up so she never goes without something on her face. And even though she’s considered a ruthless leader, she does love the finer things in life, so she has a lot of designer name tag items.
Distinguishing Marks: She has various tattoos on her body, some are sayings such as, “We shall all laugh at gilded butterflies” while others are symbols or pictures that mean things to her such as the Marylyn Monroe on her right fore-arm (her favorite actress who didn’t care what others thought of her). The most prominent tattoo is the Trés 60 gang tattoo in between her shoulder blades. It consists of a 3 on the left side, a 6 on the upside, a zero (0) on the right side and a crown at the bottom. The symbols are positioned at the four cardinal points because the Trés 60 are everywhere, and the crown is a symbol of her becoming the leader of the gang when she was only 16 years old.
Sexual Orientation: She gets sex where ever she can find it, so there isn’t really a preference gender wise. She’s picky on other levels.
Single or taken: Single (ish)
Best friend: Pre-virus: Emi (Ipo) and Sasha (Kahea) Post-virus: No one but herself
Personality: Grade-A 100% genuine heartless B-I-T-C-H is one of the best ways to describe Mack. She loves having control over people and loves having people at her beck and call. Her most favorite thing is manipulating and playing mind games with people. Other than just pure physical torture, she revels in mentally tormenting someone and then watching him/her unwind and go completely nuts. She had a heart once and a bit of a conscience too, but all that was violently ripped from her life. Now she prefers to be in control by any means necessary, be the center of attention, and torture all those who are “beneath” her.
Personal History: (Must be very well developed and at least 5-6 paragraphs long) Nicole Marie Chavez was born in the Bronx New York on April 4, 2000 under the stubborn, strong-willed sign of Ares. Her mother, Emily Smith Chavez had actually been disowned by her rich family and their fortune because she fell in love and married Jesus Chavez, a Hispanic American living in New York making a humble career as a fire fighter. Life for the couple was tight but happy. Emily worked as a secretary in an up and coming law firm to help bring in money. Then they had Nicole, and things got tighter, but still they were happy. You, Me, and Baby makes three kind of motto.
All that came crashing down on September 11, 2001. Jesus wasn’t even supposed to be on duty, having already pulled a double shift. But the planes hit and there was a massive call to arms. How could he say no? This was his city, his state, his home, and no one expected what happened next. Emily sat down with little one year old Nicole in her arms and watched the television in horror as the first tower of the World Trade Center collapsed, her beloved husband still inside.
After the tragedy, Emily did her best to try and keep the finances a float, but things were harder all over the country. Her boss, Refugio Del a Paz, a man who had become a power defense attorney by less than honest means, had noticed Emily and kept an eye on her from the minute she started working at his firm. Now her husband was out of the way, and he needed to look credible by having a family, and thus started courting her. When Nicole was three, Emily married Del a Paz and finally came into all the money she had been previously accustomed too. Nicole was spoiled too: fancy clothes, shiny and sparkly toys and birthdays at various Disney parks, but all this was just to keep her occupied. When Nicole went to sleep at night, she dreamt of her real father; his smile, his laugh, play time at the park, even peek-a-boo. When Nicole was about nine years old, she finally asked her mother to tell her about her real father, what he was like, how he looked, what his laugh was like. Her mother was “busy” getting a manicure and back rub and told her to take their driver with her for a shopping trip. Nicole never again asked her mother for anything, knowing full well it would do her no good. But Del a Paz heard of this and decided that he needed to try and play “father figure” to the little brat. So he came up with the “family summers” idea.
Every summer, from May to the end of August, the three of them travel to Oahu and have “family time.” Basically, Del a Paz stayed on the phone or in his home office, Emily went out shopping in Honolulu and Waikiki and got facials, manicures, pedicures, and massages, and Nicole traveled around the island alone. One day, late May 2010, Nicole had found herself on a local’s only beach and was just sitting under a palm tree, watching the waves. She heard a scuffle going on a little ways down the beach; a little girl, no more than five or six years old, was yelling at an older boy. The two appeared to be related, but clearly arguing over something. Nicole laughed over this, but became quickly concerned when she saw two much older boys come to the younger boy’s aide. She got up from her shade walked over to the little girl’s side and said, “If you boys think I’m just going to let you gang up on this girl then you’ve got another thing coming.” The boys stopped and there was an eerie silence before all four locals started cracking up laughing. The little girl, Emi, explained what was going on and that everything was just fine, just a sibling squabble over surfing. Nicole and Emi became fast friends, despite their age differences. Nicole also met Emi’s cousin, Sasha, and the three were inseparable the rest of the summer. Nicole finally had real friends. They surfed together, roller bladed, and even fished. Nicole promised to return the following summer and the summers after; a promise she kept for four years, before she was disowned by her own family for finding love that Del a Paz didn’t approve of.
When Nicole was fourteen, she met a lovely young lady by the name of Carmen, who worked at a grocery store that Nicole always loitered around after school. At first the two were just friends, but it soon became apparent to them both that there was something more. On her 15th birthday, Nicole moved out of her fancy mansion-like apartment suit in up-town Manhattan, and moved in with her 19 year old girlfriend in their one bedroom flat in the Bronx. Carmen didn’t want Nicole to quit school, like she had, so she worked double shifts to pay for the bills while Nicole took double classes so she could graduate early. Carmen even came up with the nick name ‘Mac’, because the two would always go to McDonalds whenever they had extra money to spare, and they were tired of sandwiches and Ramen, and Nicole just couldn’t get enough of McDonald’s Big Macs. So Carmen started calling her Mac all the time because of her girlfriends adorable obsession and they both loved it.
Now Del a Paz of course was furious. Nicole’s stunt tarnished his “reputation” and he just couldn’t have people noticing “shady” things about him and his life. He was a prosecutor now and he was putting away some of the criminals he once defended, all except for one mob boss that kept him very well funded. Well, Jyme Villarreal, the leader of a very powerful nationwide gang, the Trés 60, and a former client of Del a Paz, was quite upset when he heard that he was suddenly being pursued. Villarreal wanted him to shut-up. Hearing that young Nicole left the home, Villarreal set up a plan for his men to kidnap her in exchange for some money of course and Del a Paz keeping his mouth shut. So, one day Mack came back from grocery shopping and found the apartment empty and a note on the kitchen counter. A second later her phone went off and her mother’s hysteric voice wailed through. “Give me back my daughter you assholes!” Mac blinked. She had never heard her mom raise her voice, much less cuss. She spoke to her mother and discovered that they too had received a note, and in the note it told them that she had been kidnapped. Mac finally realized that the men had taken the wrong woman and took Carmen instead of her. She pleaded with her parents to help her get Carmen back, but Del a Paz would hear nothing of it. Why should he pay ransom for the wrong girl? So Mack met the men by herself. She watched as a dark car pulled up at the arranged meeting spot by a secluded pier, and two rough looking men with tattoos all over their bodies yanked a scared, crying and bound Carmen out of the back seat. Mac wanted to run to her but stood her ground for negotiations.
But once she started talking and told them who she was, the two men raised their hands to silence her. Then, in a quick sequence of events, one man placed Carmen on her knees, cut her ties, and just as both women thought she was free, the other man shot her twice in the head. Mac screamed and rushed to her side. She didn’t notice when they left, barely heard their threat about how she’d be next if her father didn’t keep quiet, and scarcely noticed when the police finally showed up. She just sat there, holding her lover’s lifeless bleeding body, blood covering her arms and chest and even her face, for Mikey had leaned down to place soft kisses on the other woman’s head, as she rocked back and forth in her numbing sorrow.
As she wiped away her last tear, Mac wiped away the last of her humanity. She let the hate for her step-father and the hate for the men who killed Carmen consume her until all she wanted was to watch them all beg for their lives while she bathed in their blood, making their deaths slow and painful as possible. She devised a brilliant plan. Knowing that the mob still had her step-daddy in their pocket and that the Trés 60 wanted him quiet, she came up with a way for them to destroy each other. She told her father that he should arrange a secret meeting with the gang and to bring some of his “men” for back up. Then, the very angry and very clever sixteen year old put on her shortest skirt and her tightest low cut tank top and went looking for Villarreal. She found him in one of his usual hang out, some random strip joint, and she “convinced” him to let his men go to the meeting, but armed. “I want my ‘father’ dead, but please leave him to me,” she sweetly pleaded, sitting on his lap and playing with his ear. Villarreal, whose main weakness was women, sent his men to the meeting, including the two who had kidnapped and murdered Carmen, and just as Mac planned it, the two rivals fought it out, killing each other in a glorious blood bath.
Villarreal kept his promise, and Mac found her step father hiding behind a dumpster, a shelter he had no doubt taken up when the shooting started. He put his hand out to Mac and said, “My little girl, let’s go home now.” She looked down at the pathetic man, nothing but cold hatred burning in her blue eyes, and pulled out a gun, the same one used to kill her beloved. She pointed it at him and said, “I’ll see you in hell daddy.” She put two in his head, unblinkingly and left to go ‘report back’ to Villarreal. The gang then officially gave her the Trés 60 tattoo, inducting her into the gang.
After that initiation, she was able to get as close to Villarreal as she liked, especially since everyone thought she was doing him. One day, after about a week of the charade, Mac went behind him, making like she was going to give him a massage, but instead she took a knife to his throat and cleanly cut him ear to ear. She kicked the body out of its chair, licked one side of the blade and then declared herself the new leader of the gang. By this time, the rich were starting to die off from the Ans Virus which included her own mother, a fact that Mac could’ve cared less about. What she cared about was when the virus spread to everyone else 25 and older. This allowed her and her gang to start gaining control of the city, one province at a time. Although the police were dying off, her own men were dying off too, depleting her numbers almost immediately. She needed new recruits and those from other places too. So Mac took the last of the New York section of the gang and demanded for all the rest of the Trés 60 across the country to recruit, and meet up with her as she traveled the country. Communications got harder as cell towers and internet started going down, but the word had spread pretty far enough to get men coming to her from all over.
Eventually she and her men found their way to a place called New Haven. It appeared to be in the process of being taken over by a man who called himself Jax. Mac ordered her gang to lay low, and stay put. She wanted to hear more about this Jax character. After a few days of “listening” to what was happening in the city, she found that she was quite intrigued with Jax. Finally, an actual leader, not some thugged-out pussy who hung out at strip clubs and made his minions do all the work. He seemed like a man who actually liked getting his hands dirty. How intriguing? So she came up with away to meet this interesting leader. She ordered her men to stay put in their hide out while she went to meet with him. The only one who objected received a new scar across his left cheek.
Mac went out into the town and found one of Jax’s men. When he demanded her name, she started pretending to cry. The soldier, caught a bit off guard by a beautiful woman crying, softened his demeanor and stepped forward to comforter her. Mac struck, drop kicking him to the ground, stomping the breath out of his chest, and then holding a gun to his head. “You fool. You should never let your guard down around your enemies. Now where the fuck is you leader they call Jax?” After a bit of a scuffle, namely the man attempted to overpower Mac and she had to hit him with the gun then shoot him in the shoulder before her finally gave up and gave in, the soldier finally lead her to Jax’s hide out. Mac made quiet an entrance with his the pistol whipped soldier landing with a thud on his knees while she held one gun to his head, and another pointed straight at Jax himself.
“I’ve come to talk business. A little merger of men if you will. I’m Mac Chavez of the Trés 60 and I’d like to work for you.” Impressed by her boldness, her obvious capability to command and control, and her pure disregard for the fact that without barely moving a muscle he could have her killed on the spot for her audacity, Jax decided to take a listen to her proposal. Thus how Mac merged the Trés 60 into the Jackals. But Mac also had another “merger” she was interested in finalizing with Jax. She crept into his room that night and without fear or a care in the world, crawled onto his bed. Jax of course knew the minute someone had entered his room, so Mac expected the pistol he pressed to her head when she reached him. He demanded what she was doing there, and she told him flat out, “Quid pro quo. Even in this day and age blood thirsty leaders such as ourselves need, shall we say, tension release? I’m offering you a no-strings-attached deal. I scratch your back and you scratch mine. Whenever and however you want.”
Thus started Mac’s second “merger” with Jax. She’s stayed with him ever since then, and doesn’t mind taking orders, so long as they’re from Jax himself. As the saying goes, “It’s better to be the right hand of the Devil, than in his way.”
Birth Location: The Bronx-New York City, New York Blood Family: Emily Smith ChavezDel a Paz- Deceased- Ans Virus Jesus Chavez- Deceased- 9/11 What tribe do they belong to if any?: Jackals How long have they been with that tribe?: Since the beginning Personal Strengths: Mac is extremely gifted at getting what she wants, by any means necessary. She loves using her looks to initially disarm opponents but she is best at the art of torture. Fire, needles, knives, and even guns can all be used at Mac’s hands to either get information or other things she wants, or to just amuse herself by watching someone in pain. She’s good at commanding those who are “under” her, but she is also good at communication (when she wants to be), making her the link between Jax and the rest of the men.
Personal Weaknesses: If you ever were to approach her about this topic, she’d light you up like a Christmas tree. But it is her temper and her arrogance that gets her rubbing the wrong way with Jax sometimes. Also, her hand to hand combat is enough to get her by in a street fight, but not up against someone with actual training. And she has an insatiable appetite for night time “company”, but she is very choosey of whom that company is. As for material things, she loves lacy designer under wear, designer perfume, designer shoes, dresses, and make-up. She made sure she stocked up while her and her boys were on the move. Personal Skills and Training: Because her step-daddy was in shady business and company, she already knew a little about guns. But it was a few members of the gang that really showed her how to use them, and perfectly. Her knife combat was worked on too because of the gang as well as her hand to hand. However, she could never go up against someone like Jax in hand to hand.
Job that they have in the tribe or whatever they do to keep themselves alive if they’re alone: Soldier, mainly weapons; Also the main link of communications between the rest of the men to Jax and vice versa. She could also be considered Jax’s mistress. PB: Megan Fox
Plot ties Plot tie 1: Attempt to “de-throne” Reina from her second-in-command position Plot tie 2: Torment Sumi Plot tie 3: Perhaps someone to eventually bring back some of her humanity/melt her heart
Sample Third Person Post of the Character:(Must be at least three paragraphs long. One paragraph is 3-4 sentences long.) Mac woke up, frustrated, again. “This is going to be a fun day.” She put on one of her fitted tees, a pair of jeans that had five inch rips on the outside seams, and a slightly baggy hoody. She tousled her hair a bit and applied some black mascara to her lashes. Putting on her black house shoes, she walked out of her room, looking down the hall to see that Jax had long since awakened and was probably doing some kind of preparation for the takeover of Sundance. Or maybe he’s out with that little princess, Sumi. Mac grumbled in further frustration. She hadn’t gotten any since Jax started catering to that little worthless twerp. Ever since they got to Sundance he suddenly became all about her! Sure they had shared a few romps, but she’d gone two whole weeks now and not even a freak’n quickie! Mac hit the wall as she entered one of the main rooms. She spotted one of her men from the gang she had lead before joining up with Jax. He was sitting on the couch and was a bit startled by her angered entrance. Good. Her men knew better. They had all learned how to ‘read’ her and knew exactly when she was in a horrible mood and that usually meant for them to stay away or panic. A devious smirk spread across Mac’s lips as she looked at the wide eyed man. “Domingo, can I see you outside please?” Domingo gulped, but shook his head. “Yes sir.” All of her men knew better than to call her ma’am and knew better than to not obey when she told them to do something. After thirty minutes or so, Mac was feeling a little bit better. She at least had a smile on her face from sitting and watching Domingo slowly bleed then burn to death. Of course Jax would hear of her “boredom” and have some words for her, but she didn’t care. She had some words for him too. And she looked forward, as she usually did, to their heated “discussion” and then hopefully an even more heated angry session in the sack. Those were always so much fun! She walked into the kitchen to find, oh what was his name again? oh right, Charlie making himself at home with making lunch for the group. He really was a good cook and Mac couldn’t help but notice how much she liked watching him work around the kitchen, especially with his hands. She leaned over the island that was in the middle of the kitchen, bending right at her waist and propping up on her elbows so her back was slightly arched. She followed the chef with her icy blue eyes, knowing full well how she was positioned and that in order to do his job Charlie had to move around her because she was smack dab in the middle of his kitchen. It was attention she was looking for and god-damnit she was going to get it, one way or another.
