In Character
Name: Paige Winterbourne
Age: 23
Fandom: Women of the Otherworld
History:
Paige was the heir aparent for her mother's coven. As such she's always lived with the assumption that she would take over when her mother was ready to step down. There was no way that she could have possibly expected for that to happen at the age of 23 but it did. She didn't expect to be the guardian of a thirteen year-old-girl either but she is.

Paige had only ever known life with her mother. Her mother was one of the few living witches to not fear herself or her powers. Because of that influence Paige grew up in a manner completely unlike that of most modern witches. She wasn't taught to fear herself or her powers so she's explored the limits of her power in ways that white witches (for lack of better terms) haven't in what is likely centuries. She grew up in magic and in the politics of the supernatural world since her mother was the witche's representative on the supernatural council. It was through the council that she came to know her closest friend, Adam Vasic. His step father was the demon representative. Given the amount of time that the council spent together Paige and Adam came to know eachother well. To this day Adam is one of the first people she turns to when she has troubles (even if his solutions aren't always what she wishes they would be).

About nine months before Paige came to Las Vegas her mother was captured by a group of humans searching for harder game to track and kill. The supernatural community had come to their attention and with the help of a couple of half demons they managed to kidnap some of the most powerful supernaturals in the country. Paige took part in the rescue operation but was unfortunately not able to save her mother. Her mother died saving Savannah the daughter of another of the captured witches.

She soon found herself in a tiny Massachusetts town with a coven that didn't respect her authority and a thirteen-old-ward intent on discovering her boundaries and a growing frustration with the self-imposed limitations on witch magic. When Savannah's father came out of the woodwork looking to get custody Paige found herself fighting a powerful Sorcerer Cabal with no help save that of a somewhat questionable, if strangely intriguing young Sorcerer/Lawyer

Any special abilities: Basic spellcasting, she’s very good at what she’s been allowed to learn based on the self-imposed limitations that witched traditionally place on their magic. She’s recently started learning magic that is considered by many to be forbidden and/or impossible for witches. All witches power lies in defensive rather than offensive magics.

PB: Ginnifer Goodwin
Sample:
Her spell books were gone.

Paige would have been slightly concerned over waking up in a strange bed if was the first thing she noticed upon waking up in said strange environment had not sent her into a complete panic. Her spell books weren’t by her bed. How was she supposed to work on her spells if her books were gone? She would never master the level three spells without them.

She tore through the apartment looking for her backpack not even registering her new surroundings. Once she was sure that her backpack wasn’t there and that she was completely without her spell books she sat on the nearest chair and actually looked at where she was. Her surroundings could only be described as palatial. Which unnerved her considering what she’d recently learned about the Cabals. Could it be possible that they’d managed to drug her and bring her someplace without her knowing it? Judging from what she knew of the Sorcerer-ran companies anything was possible.

It was then that she noticed the laptop. Reading the message reassured her that she might not have ended up prisoner of the Nast Cabal but left her with more questions than she’d had before. It almost made her forget her missing spell books. Almost.
