PLAYER NAME: Kris AGE: old EMAIL: MESSENGER: AIM, Y!M, etc. TIMEZONE: Central CDJ: CHARACTER JOURNAL: _retired PREFERRED PB: Simon Pegg (on this journal) REFERENCE: I'm in it. CHARACTER BASICS NAME: Ronald Bilius Weasley OCCUPATION: Pre Hogwarts Education AGE/BIRTHDAY: March 1, 1980 HOGWARTS HOUSE/YEARS: Gryffindor 1991 - 1997 (did not finish) BLOOD STATUS: Pureblood MARITAL STATUS: married SEXUALITY: Heterosexual FAMILY: Hermione Granger-Weasley (wife), Rose Granger-Weasley (daughter), Hugo Granger-Weasley (son), and every Weasley ever and the Potters APPEARANCE: Ron is a fairly tall fellow standing a few inches over six feet. Where once Ron was gangly he has filled out a bit and has a slight bit of pudge even due to his metabolism slowing as he has gotten older. His front hair line is receding and his once brilliant ginger hair is lightening to a more strawberry blonde thanks to his children making him prematurely grey. PERSONALITY TOP 5-10 STRENGTHS: loyal, tactical thinking, witty, brave, soft hearted TOP 5-10 FLAWS: lazy, horrible temper, insecure, foul mouthed, easily wounded GREATEST DESIRE/MOTIVATION: What does your character want more than anything? Be as specific and creative as possible. Vague answers (such as a family or a long life) will likely not be accepted. GREATEST FEAR: Ron's greatest fear is not measuring up. He has played second fiddle to countless others from his brothers to Harry. There is always a nagging voice in the back of his mind telling him he isn't good enough and everyone he loves will leave him. JUSTIFICATION FOR SECTOR: N/A HISTORY TOP 5 DEFINING MOMENTS: Quitting the Ministry. - Two years after Ron became an auror, without even finishing Hogwarts, Ron packed up and left. Ron wasn't sure what he wanted to do with the rest of his life but being an auror wasn't it even though he had often thought it might be. Working for Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes. - Ron found his place helping George around the joke shop. Ron liked interacting with all the kids that came in and when he put his mind to it he could come up with some pretty interesting ideas. Birth of his children. - To say that having sprogs terrified Ron would be a vast understatement. Deep in the back of his mind it was yet another person he could let down by not measuring up. When he first Held Rose and then Hugo he knew though that there was nothing he wouldn't do to make them happy and safe. Massacre at King's Cross. - Fighting a war as a teenager and a grown man with children was vastly different. Ron had known fear before this day but nothing compared to watching Death Eaters emerge and start firing spells at children. Chaos erupted and Ron did his best to shield his son and ended up grabbing a few other kids running around and getting them tucked away safely. Guiding the future. - Ron became a pre-Hogwarts educator by accident in all truth. What started as just Hugo turned into four children and escalated from there to the point McGonagall set him up in the castle to take care of and teach the younger children who had parents helping the Order in one way or another. HAPPIEST MEMORY: Ron's happiest memory is truly a toss up between three moments, his wedding day to Hermione or the birth of his kids. WORST MEMORY: Hearing Hermione get tortured at Malfoy Manor. BIGGEST SECRET: Ron takes his job as the teacher and protector of the younger pre-Hogwarts age kids very seriously. He jokes and plays it off but he has evacuation plans and contingency plans for most situations that could happen. HOW HAS THE WAR IMPACTED YOUR CHARACTER'S LIFE? Ron stepped away from being an auror a few years after most the Death Eaters were captured. Ron couldn't deal with it. He had lived war since the day he met Harry. It just wasn't in him any more. When the war broke out again and the sectors were formed all he could think about was leaving his son behind and how he couldn't do it. WHERE ARE THEY NOW?: Ron's day to day life might be more hectic than the poor saps that belong to sectors. He takes care of teaching the younger children the important things and watching over them while their families work around the castle and the village. WRITING SAMPLES FIRST PERSON: Not sure how but I got red on me. I think I was splattered with finger paint. It looks like I was in a horrible accident. Lucky for me I know magic and can get rid of it before Hermione sees it and has a hippogryph. THIRD PERSON: Third person example written from your character's point of view. Does not have to be game-specific, but must be a good example of your writing and voice for this character. (Sample not necessary if you are already in game.) PLOT IDEAS: Family interaction, interaction with past schoolmates, Ron interacting with parents or just adults in general |
