What Aria was saying made little sense, but then, Bazzer had mentioned that she was confused. He would need to have a talk with that boy. Ringing a small bell, Dar seated Aria at the table on his right, then took a seat for himself at the head. Almost immediately a servant appeared then disappeared as water goblets were set down. A few minutes later, soup, bread and salad was brought out for a hearty lunch. Both the soup and salad had beef in it, a common staple in the house.
"So, tell me, my dear," Dar began once the food had arrived, "a little bit about yourself? Bazzer was very vague, just that you are from far south of here and are seeking work as a governess."
