Strong telepath, can't place ideas into other's minds but can read as deep into someone as he wants. Can communicate with anyone he's met in person telepathically but generally doesn't unless they're alright with it.

HISTORY

Arthur started developing psychic (telepathic) abilities later than most, around 21. Didn't bother honing it (only went as far as learning to make it non-obvious) or using it for good, mostly used it as a way to pick up chicks, knowing exactly what they wanted and the easiest way to get into their pants. Made the mistake of using it to start a relationship with someone he really liked, eventually they married because to her he was the perfect man since he always knew how she felt/what she wanted in life and in a partner.
Several years into the relationship the guilt started to get to him and he admitted his powers and what he'd done with them to her, of course she couldn't accept the INCREDIBLE amount of manipulation and divorced him, left with the inability to trust anyone and basically destroyed all future love interests for her because there was always the "what if".
He decided to become a teacher at the Bennet Institute to make sure young adults with similar powers didn't make the same mistakes he did, helping them hone their abilities but also trying to get them to realize that while not physically powerful, the mental damage they can cause is huge.
