Sometimes these journal things get me into trouble, but I figure it's the best way to say hey to everyone, so yeah. I'm Starbuck (and no, I wasn't named after a caffeinated beverage). I just transfered here, and so far, so good. Did some exploring this morning and thankfully discovered a few natural bodies of water on campus, because the chlorine shit is a no-go. Still, I'm wondering if anyone familiar with the area could tell me if the coast has decent waves? I love to surf.
Other purpose of this note is to let all the guys on campus know that I've been named dorm advisor. I am a student, but I'm apparently responsible and older and don't have many classes, so yeah. I know everyone's got a staff sponsor, but if you guys have any problems that I might be able to help solve, let me know. Just please don't bang loudly on my door if it's past 8pm, my little girl is usually asleep by then. I should probably make a sign to hang on the door whenever she's asleep. I'm gonna get on that right now. So, later.
