Tuesday: August/19/08 - AIM: Starbuck/Ana
Starbuck: Hey.
Ana: well hello
Starbuck: Thought I'd check in and see how the new class is going.
Ana: after only two days? fine, i suppose
Starbuck: It's strange not being a student anymore.
Ana: i prefer this over being a student
Starbuck: I'm liking the new apartment.
Ana: i bet you do.. no more having to worry about the guys in the dorm halls
Starbuck: That's a definite perk. More space too. And it helps that I don't have to sneak my girlfriend in and out.
Ana: oh right, the girlfriend
Starbuck: Yep. She gets to live with me now.
Ana: how fun that must be for you
Starbuck: It is. I'm sure you like having a full apartment to yourself.
Ana: like is a severe understatement, sweetie
Starbuck: I mean, it's no New York penthouse, but I'm sure you've got it decorated nice.
Ana: of course i do.. i'd invite you to come see it, but i don't think your little girlfriend would appreciate that
Starbuck: Why would Kim have a problem with me checking out your apartment?
Ana: i don't know.. you tell me, especially since your sprite friend apparently had a problem with me merely speaking to you
Starbuck: Frankie had a problem with you talking to me? Why?
Ana: did you forget about that incident on your journal already? she didn't seem to like the way i was speaking to you
Starbuck: That was just joking. She takes things too seriously sometimes.
Ana: right
Starbuck: Anyway, Kim isn't uptight about that sort of stuff.
Ana: good to know
Starbuck: She knows there's no reason to be jealous.
Ana: i see
Starbuck: What about you?
Ana: what about me?
Starbuck: You seeing anyone?
Ana: no
Starbuck: Too bad.
Ana: i don't see how that's bad
Starbuck: Well, I guess it's not for you.
Ana: it isn't
Starbuck: Ava was like that too.
Ana: i'm aware
Starbuck: She seems to be a lot more comfortable with the whole relationship thing now than she used to be.
Ana: i suppose she is, but we're different in that regard
Starbuck: Maybe you just haven't found the right guy?
Ana: i don't believe in any of that
Starbuck: Why not?
Ana: why should i?
Starbuck: I don't know. I thought most people believed in love.
Ana: i don't
Starbuck: That's too bad.
Ana: again, i don't see how that's bad
Starbuck: Because it's nice believing in something so wonderful.
Ana: that's your opinion
Starbuck: Yeah, I guess.
Starbuck: Your brother-in-law took my girlfriend on safari last night.
Ana: safari?
Starbuck: Yeah, some mission to find bodies in the woods.
Ana: sounds cryptic
Starbuck: Oh. I thought Ava would have told you about it.
Ana: she didn't.. we had other things to talk about
Starbuck: Well, you can ask her about it.
Ana: i will
