Wednesday: March/25/09 - AIM: Starbuck/Fox
Starbuck: How are you feeling?
Fox: Fine.
Starbuck: Have my handprints faded away yet? They should have by now, but it varies with everyone.
Fox: I've been trying not to look. Having a blue stomach is a bit unnerving.
Starbuck: Better than bleeding out, right?
Fox: I'd've been fine.
Fox: Eventually.
Starbuck: I know you heal fast like me, but that was still a bad wound.
Fox: Couple stitches and it wouldn't be a problem.
Starbuck: Wow, you're welcome.
Fox: Sorry. I'm not in the best of moods and I don't mean to take it out on you.
Fox: Thanks, really.
Starbuck: It's cool. Any chance you feel like telling me why someone stabbed you?
Fox: I pissed Riley's insane baby momma off without realizing it.
Starbuck: Ouch, yeah, don't piss off the baby mommas.
Fox: Yeah. Hard to control when you don't realize what you did until she comes at you with a letter opener.
Starbuck: Did you guys work things out?
Fox: Let me repeat she's nuts.
Starbuck: I get that, but do you think she's going to attack you again?
Fox: Not if I can help it.
Starbuck: Probably should just avoid them for a bit and let them work it out.
Fox: That's my plan.
Starbuck: I always figured it would treat you after being attacked by an angry woman, but I just assumed Frankie would set you on fire.
Fox: Love the vote of confidence there.
Starbuck: Dude, she thinks you lied to her to get her into bed.
Starbuck: That sort of shit makes women mad.
Starbuck: Plus, she's having a rough time right now.
Fox: Yeah, and even after knowing me for so long and better than anyone, she was still more than happy to believe the worst of me.
Starbuck: Sorry.
Starbuck: You're the one who told her.
Fox: She wouldn't believe the truth, so may as well tell her what she wants to hear.
Fox: She knows the truth anyways.
Starbuck: She does?
Fox: Yeah.
Starbuck: How did that happen? And how the fuck did I miss this? She usually comes running to our apartment with news.
Fox: Last week or so.
Fox: She messaged me.
Starbuck: She just figured it out?
Fox: Seemed so.
Starbuck: So are you two better then?
Fox: No idea.
Starbuck: Maybe it's been long enough that you can figure things out and be friends again.
Fox: Maybe.
Starbuck: She needs friends.
Fox: We tried that once. Didn't turn out so well.
Starbuck: True.
Fox: Yeah. So it might not be the best choice.
Starbuck: Good call. Maybe just settle for being on good terms.
Fox: I'm not reaching out for it. She'll have to come to me.
Starbuck: We'll see. I think she's dealing with bigger issues right now.
Starbuck: Apparently she's bisexual now.
Fox: Not surprising.
Starbuck: I guess not, considering what happened with Pearl.
Fox: Yup;.
Starbuck: Apparently something happened with Lyle too, which doesn't sit well with me.
Fox: What do you mean?
Starbuck: I don't know, I only overheard bits and pieces when she was telling Kim. Something about them kissing and keeping things casual.
Fox: Yeah, because that's what I want to hear.
Starbuck: Why would it bother you?
Fox: Never mind.
Starbuck: Do you still have feelings for her?
Fox: No.
Starbuck: Alright.
Fox: I'm gonna go to the gym. I'll catch you later.
Starbuck: Later.
