Ten years ago today, Cedric Diggory was killed by a Death Eater.

He was good and kind and brave. He was a Quidditch captain, a Prefect, a Triwizard Champion. He was a true Hufflepuff. He was my best friend.

He was seventeen.

Some of you knew him, most of you knew of him. Please take a moment today and remember him. For those that wish to lay flowers or tributes, please bring them to the statue on Hogwarts' grounds, and respect the Minister's privacy at this time. Thank you.

Not your fault.

A few of us are toasting him with a bottle of something up at the statue, so I've got company. Reckon I might be a bit too pissed to shoot anything tonight though, mind a rain-check on that?
