"Call me by my name later and I might give you a preview," Stiles whispered, seeing Derek's grin grow a moment after his body had reacted, knowing full well that his mate had smelt his arousal.
Stiles' eyes lingered on the couple as they got themselves together and left the restaurant, the alpha taking his omega's hand and kissing her knuckles the way Derek had his. It was lovely. He was glad he had someone he'd get to grow old with. He was glad it was Derek. No- he was lucky. He was so lucky.
Stiles had wanted them to go out on a date because he'd wanted to have something nice and normal and kind of stupidly romantic before he properly lost his virginity. But the night had turned into something a lot more than just that.
His soft smile turned into something more, something brighter when Derek praised him. He still wasn't used to the thought that he was enough just as he was. That he didn't have to do anything for Derek to think he was sexy. That he didn't have to dress any different, or act any different. Stiles was good as he was. And it was a little difficult to get his head around, but Derek's smile was very convincing.
"I'm still not used to it," he shrugged. "That I'm enough for you. You've always kinda been on this pedestal to us, being an alpha and a werewolf, helping us through everything. I kinda felt like you were untouchable. Or that you'd- I dunno. I couldn't work out why you weren't mated. I guess I thought it was something to do with your past. But I always kinda wanted you to have someone who would help you build a pack again. I told you this already, I know, I just wanted you to know I was sincere-"
Stiles leant in and kissed Derek softly, warmth flooding through him, settling between his legs. The plug was teasing him, and a tiny moan slipped from his lips when he thought about it being Derek's knot later-
"I'm sorry to interrupt," their waiter said quietly, holding their dinners in his hands, placing them carefully down on the table. "Just call me if you need anything, I won't interrupt again."
Stiles flushed and smiled, thanking the waiter, gripping Derek's hand. He'd never been on a date, he was worried he was going too over the top with the touching and affection. He didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable.
"They don't mind, do they? Should I calm down a bit?" he asked, wondering if he could eat his food with one hand or if tangling their legs together under the table would have to suffice.
