"Yeah, but there was no way you were keeping it a secret. You didn't even try." Not that Derek minded, he liked knowing that name and the history behind it, what it meant for the Stilinski family.
He let out a little noise, unable to keep it in when Stiles scented his shoulder. This was his mate, it was right and good to smell like him, to be scented by him, and he couldn't stop the way his head dipped forward so he could nuzzle at his messy hair.
And he could tell by the shift in Scott's scent, the other alpha wasn't exactly comfortable, but he wasn't going to stop interacting with his mate in his own loft. There were some things he was going to have to get used to, as was everyone else.
"They're all here," Derek whispered into Stiles' ear. "Boyd's parking."
To Scott, he nodded, understanding that it might be a little overwhelming when the whole pack was celebrating something that he was still trying to come to terms with. "Yep." Scott, absolutely seemed to be beating a hasty retreat and Erica's exuberance --
He couldn't help it, he snorted a laugh into Stiles' hair before opening his arms up slightly, inviting his two betas in, but Erica was close enough already that she mostly just bounced into them.
"Glad to know it's gotten your seal of approval," he grumbled, even though he was smiling and smearing his mouth over her cheek.
Isaac came next, a little slower, a little more timid but just as eager to have Derek running his palms over his cheeks and throat. "Nachos and pizzas should be done soon --"
And right on time, the oven dinged that the time was up and Derek slowly extricated himself to go get the food. Would he be surprised if he came back to find them all on the floor in a puppy pile? Nope. Not at all.
Grabbing a mitt to keep from burning himself -- it'd heal, but he'd rather not have to deal with the sting or the smell until it did -- he grabbed everything out of the oven and got it ready to take into the living room.
"Pick a movie out!" He called out. "You can keep scenting Stiles while you do that!"
