"Why do you think I'm giving you food?" Derek called back. He expected them to be shoving it into their faces and thus relinquish their grasp on his mate long enough for Derek to steal him back. For a little while at least, then he'd share him with pack until all their scents mixed.
He laughed as he listened to them from the kitchen, the sound earning an eyebrow from Boyd, who cautiously stayed a little closer and helped carry the pizza stones (topped with cut slices of pizza) into the waiting horde.
"She's going to pick Love Actually," Derek predicted as he brought in the nachos. It was the only movie she ever wanted to watch when she wanted something normal and it was the sole reason why Derek kept it in his collection.
"Mmm pizza," Isaac said from his blissed out position on the couch, arms reaching out to make grabby hands at Boyd, then abruptly paused, hands in the air as he looked back and forth between Derek, then to Stiles.
Derek shook his head, still full from brunch and tilted his head to Stiles. "They're waiting for you to pick first," he said as he sat, their thighs touching. The tray of nachos went down on the table in case Stiles wanted those first.
"And don't let him tell you otherwise, Erica. He called himself pack mom last night."
